Wow! What an incredibly beautiful book!!! While the decor and events pictures are way out of reach for "normal" people, the photography is absolutely stunning. It's also great for getting ideas for your own events, even if you can't afford the over-the-top stuff that's pictured. Overall, a gorgeous book that's going to be on my coffee table to enjoy for a LONG TIME!!

Preston Bailey never fails to astonish me with his imaginative, over the top work! The first time I saw another of his books, my jaw dropped. I'm a florist, and I look at many sources for inspiration. His work stands head and shoulders above any I have ever seen. This is a beautiful coffee table book for anyone who likes flowers or weddings or a book for someone always reaching for more in their floral profession. Of course he designs for clients with unlimited budgets, but I can dream!

Not much how to infomation, but a good to help generate ideas.Preston Bailey's Design for Entertaining: Inspiration for Creating the Party of Your Dreams is recommended for a more information on how to achieve the look.

If you're into over the top...then this is for you. I received it as an engagement gift and I just think that the work is beautiful & well done. I can't afford it, but that doesn't mean that Preston Baily isn't the master : )

Really enjoyed this book! So many ideas. Grateful that Preston Bailey doesn't mind showing his work to help people plan their own weddings.

absolutely overjoyed with this beautiful book!....applied suggested crystal tree for our vow renewal..everyone was in awe of its beauty...we believe mr. preston would have been proud!....and would also buy from sellers again..quick shipment.great condition!.wow again!

This book really shows some fantastic ideas for your wedding day.
It has a vast amount of projects represented by beautiful colour photographs.
It has given me a few ideas although I would say the weddings in the book cost a fortune and so you need to take the essence of the ideas and bring them down to an affordable level.
Also it really is a floral decoration book and although there is good use of lighting and candles ninety percent of the book is about flower decoration be it in a ''never seen before way''.
However it is very inspiring and beautiful and would also make a great coffee table book or present for a designer/florist.

I was really enchanted, when I first saw the book at a decorator's office.
Mr. Bailey's good taste and criativity are shown in every project of this book, one completely different from the other.
It has good ideas to brides and also to party decorators. The pictures are excellent and the book is very well written.
Fantasy Weddings is a must have to anyone interested in flower decoration or anyone who likes to see beauty in life.

I knew when I ordered this book that it would be extravagant, over-the-top, lush, exotic, and all those similar adjectives that people use to mean "costs lots and lots of money." I in no way expected anything in it to be remotely affordable for my wedding, nor was I really looking for inspiration. I just wanted to enjoy the pretty pictures. I'm a big fan of Preston Bailey's blog, and I looked forward to seeing larger pictures and a broader range of whole scenes.

I got that. I love the fairy-tale quality of his work. If what you want is huge, gorgeous pictures of extravagant scenes, this is the right book. But... I have to say, I was disappointed in how much repetition of theme I saw. Preston Bailey seems to have chosen many of these designs to contrast them, but some features cropped up over and over again. Maybe it's the nature of the photographs, which tend to focus on the same elements every time. Perhaps if I saw them in person they'd seem less similar, but from a designer who works with such high budgets, I expected to see more things that stunned me. Flower quantity alone doesn't do it.

If I see one more towering centerpiece that looks virtually identical to all the other towering centerpieces I've seen on TV and on wedding blogs--I'm going to yawn.

This is a beautiful book with great photos. It is in excellent condition too. Great ideas but as you probably know, Preston Bailey is very "Over-the-top" which there is nothing wrong with, just very expensive. This book gave me some wonderful "Knock-off" ideas however that will be very lovely.
