5.0 out of 5 stars BRILLIANT PRODUCT
I'm not one for raving about or recommending much (I'm far too skeptical for that), but I have to make an exception in this case. I have been a devotee of this stuff for the past 15 years. It's one of those "if you had to pick three things to take with you to a desert island" kind of products. Though it's name suggests otherwise, I've found it great for using...

Well--I did order a 3-pack and after a long anticipated wait I have to agree---it does seem to NOT get the great results as before!! The formula seems diluted-like....before the results were instantly dramatic---now so-so.

I'm not one for raving about or recommending much (I'm far too skeptical for that), but I have to make an exception in this case. I have been a devotee of this stuff for the past 15 years. It's one of those "if you had to pick three things to take with you to a desert island" kind of products. Though it's name suggests otherwise, I've found it great for using everywhere there's dry skin, particularly on my face! Buf-pufs and scrubs can be so abrasive, and moisturizer just leaves my face feeling greasy. This stuff takes care of the problem instantly. I use it in the shower after I wash my face. (I think people will find that if their skin is a bit damp, this product works better.) It makes quick, gentle work of the the dryness, which is gone, and my skin isn't left isn't red and irritated. This is a particularly good feature in the winter, as anyone who has ever had windburn from skiing or a sore nose from blowing into scratchy tissues all day will tell you. Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to find in the store, and I had to search a bit to find it on-line, but now that I have, I'll be a regular customer. This product is fantastic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product - well worth getting., January 5, 2011

Well, I've been using this stuff for many, many years.
I can't say for sure that they have changed the formula. I do think that it worked a little better,
or perhaps a little quicker, when it was in the light blue normal bottle.
It is almost impossible to find in stores any more. We used to purchase it at WalMart, but they never
have it in stock. There's still a spot on the shelves, but never any product.

I really, really HATE this "foot" shaped bottle! The exfoliating part of the mix tends
to settle around the pink base, so be sure to shake the heck out of it EACH time you use it.
To the people who have said it was a little watery, it is probably from the stupid bottle design.
While it might be a little artistic, it is not practical, and make the liquid harder to use.
Good luck getting the last of the liquid out at the bottom of the bottle too - I had to put my
little finger in the bottle to get it to come out. I even added a little bit of warm water, which used
to help remix the drier part. Not any more - I had gunk and water. Shame on them for this lousy design!
We get it - you wanted it to look like a foot. It is still a bad design for the lotion inside!

Meanwhile, the product itself is still wonderful. I've tried making home versions, but it never works as well.
There is a trick to this stuff. You don't just put it on like hand lotion. Use it on DRY SKIN (not wet from the
shower) and you'll get better results. Do this over a trash can the first time you try it! Anyway, continue to rub,
like you were rubbing something that had to be ground in to your skin. You'll want to continue to rub even after
you can't see the lotion any more. Keep rubbing. That's it - keep going. You'll start to see little bits of white.
That's the dead skin cells. Keep rubbing - they'll continue to come off. Brush them off as they come off into your
trash can. Sound gross? It's just your dead skin cells - don't worry. Once you aren't getting any more junk off,
you can either try again with some more of this lotion, or if you think you're good, go wash your hands with
soap and water, dry them, and put on your normal hand lotion. Especially work this stuff in to your knuckles.
It is amazing how dry skin can get there! My hands feel like the proverbial baby bottom after a good round
of this lotion being worked in.

It is amazing how much this stuff really does work. In addition to hands, you can really use it anywhere.
I use it on my legs for dry winter skin, my face for the dry patches that have somehow started showing up where
regular skin used to reside, elbows and knees, and of course, feet and hands. It is really great.

But whoever designed this current bottle needs to be fired!
I don't want art, I want lotion. The bottle does NOT function well and adds a certain
amount of annoyance to the product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Facial Exfoliant Out There!, August 18, 2008

I have used Pretty Hands and Feet to exfoliate my face since I was a teenager. It always leaves my face so clean and soft. (Yes, it works on my hands and feet too.) This product works better than the $80 cream that my mother buys from Clarins. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who cares about her skin, as a good exfoliator can take years off your face.

5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff needs an info-mercial..., May 10, 2009
This review is from: Pretty Feet & Hands Rough Skin Remover-Exfoliant, 3-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
This is the first review I've ever written. Firstly, shame on the manufacturer for putting it in a pretty pink bottle... I'm a guy, and I use it, and the old blue bottle was far more neutral.

Secondly, I love this stuff. Put it on dry skin, rub it, and it's gone. Poof. That's it. I can't believe this stuff is so hard to find, it's the most impressive grooming product I've ever experienced. I have never encountered a product that replicates this. Thank you, Amazon, for making it available.

If you are searching for exfoliant, you obviously need one, and this is by far the best. Buy this one and you'll want to join a fan club.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rough, dry skin just rolls away..., January 8, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Pretty Feet & Hands Rough Skin Remover-Exfoliant, 3-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
I bought this months ago. Like it a lot. I use it on my feet periodically right after I get out of the shower. I think the little bit of moisture from the shower makes this product more effective. The dry dead skin rolls right off. I use it on my elbows as well to keep the dry skin to a minimum. I know some people use it on their faces as well, however, my face is already soft, and it's also extremely sensitive. So I think this would just make my face break out. I only use it on problem areas like my feet and elbows. Good for the hands too, since I wash my hands a lot, my hands dry out. Makes the dead skin roll off instantly.

This has been one of my favorite products for many years. Yes, it can be messy, that's because it works. Exfoliating dead skin is a messy business. I recently went in search of Pretty Hands Pretty feet at the drug store where I usually find it and found a product in a look alike bottle with similar ingredients called Peel Out, which did not work nearly as well. I was delighted to find my favorite on Amazon.
