Pretty Sacrifices is supposed to be a book for young adults, which it certainly is, but it also a fantastic book for adults. It is a story about a young girl's fight against evil but what is great about it is that the evil is not some type of movie monster; it is the type of evil we all see every day in our lives. It is a fantasy because she does have angels, vampires and witches but they are portrayed as real people. There is an underlying theme of love through-out the book.

The story is very well written; I cried, laughed and fell in love with the characters. It is an extremely good story that can make you think. Of course, it is written by a very good story teller, so you can just read it for the pure enjoyment of the story. It can be read on many levels. I love that good overcomes evil in a very realistic way. So if you are looking for something fun to read, this is the book for you. Cannot wait for the next book to come out.

Once again Devin has writen a fantastic book. When I was finished reading the first book (Glory) of this trilogy I was so excited for the next one to come out. I was done reading this book in two days, I could not put it down, that right there just shows you how wonderful this book is. All of the characters are relatable in some way, you love to love the good characters and you love to hate the bad ones. I would recomend this book and the entire "The Legend of Glory" series to anyone! I can not wait for the third book to come out! Loved It!!!

Fantastic read! I enjoyed Glory a lot, but Pretty Sacrifices is so refreshing! O'Branagan doesn't rehash story lines that have been done a million times a million different ways. This is physics, and fantasy, and romance all rolled into one touching and beautiful story. Once again her heroine, Glory, will blow the reader away.
