I have the album and i have seen the band on more than a few occasions. They put on one of the best live shows ever, and the music is excellent. enjoy the record.

The only thing that held (The Buzz Poets disbanned after the summer in 2006) these guys back from being world famous is that they didn't want to be. And this CD proves it. Tim Gaber is possibly my favorite bassist to listen to; just try keeping up with his licks. Justin Sarra on the turntables is incredible. And Tripper's voice is very strong without sounding forced. The CD is a fusion of sounds as you migrate through the playlist. Rollercoaster Ride is a very rap-core driven song. Barbie Q is a humourous song about what any 8 year-old boy would do if he was left alone with his sister's Barbie's, although this song take a darker note as you realize he's parralleling and mocking to the real-life "Barbies". In the song Twisted you really get a feel for the energy this band can give. Clone and China on a Sunday portray deep emotions not even found in most love ballads. And that's not even half the CD. I can't listen to Candy Raindrops without the hair on the back of my neck standing on end. Simply put, Amazing!

The Buzz Poets are an awesome band that my friend told me about. He had accidently come across the song "Copenhagen Girl" on Napster and listened to it and absolutely LOVED it! I decided to see what he was raving about and listened to "Copenhagen Girl", "Mexican Radio", and "Pretzel Sex". I know now what the huge deal is, the Buzz Poets are an awesome band! My personal favorite song is still Copenhagen Girl (I need a girl that chews Copenhagen, when she opens up her mouth all her teeth are falling out, I need a girl that chews Copenhagen...) You definitely should listen to this CD!

I agree. Anything from the buzzpoets defintely rocks. I have also seen these guys on multiple occasions and every show different. Not only is the music great the band memebers are great guys and defintely have the potential and telent to go somewhere. Let's wish them well for their future.

I saw this band on a local Pittsburgh talk show. I found them to be original with a great sound and had to hear more. The album rocks and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for some great fun music.

The Buzz Poets are a Pittsburgh band, and they are freakin' cool. This is their best CD (I have it signed by them, WOOOO!), and the self-titled album is also really good. I LOVE the
disco-esque track One More Dance, it's my fave on the album. Me and my friend used to sing thier songs on the football bus (i was a band geek, YAY!), and of course no one knew what we were singing. Good times...Anyway, this is a great band, especially live. They serve a good show, great stage presense. And all the guys are so sweet! One of the rare sincere bands who really do it all for the fans!

I love the Buzz Poets. They are an amazing band. I think this cd is their best. It shows every side of them from punk, to rap, and to general rock. I sugest you buy it. I have seen them a couple times live, and their live shows blow you away. They put on a great show. I also meet them, and they are really nice guys. Everyone check them out.
