Good light read....,
This review is from: Prevailing Love: Montana Sky / The Wedding Wish / Sealed with a Kiss (Paperback)
This is a three books in one book, I m not a big fan of the several connecting stories in one book, but these were cute, fun stories that were a little different, but just shorter books than normal. In the first story you have a trouble young girl who really needs help, help her new foster father, even though he has everything money can buy, he has no idea how to help her. A young pretty therapist he engages to help little Molly, also helps with some healing in his own heart as well. ... The next story is about a dying young woman, who plays with matchmaking in order to see her dying wish come true. Her best friends get married and her daughter has a home......
They were different stories, but fun to read, a little cheesy, but sometime that is great!!! This was a good read for those nights when you just want to curl up with something light and refreshing.

Sealed with a Kiss: This book in the 3 in 1 collection was charming! I truly enjoyed reading Ethan, Hope and Molly's story. It is full of love, sadness, hope and God. An amazing combination! My heart really went out to Ethan the most. He was a wealthy man with a scarred past and he loved God, but still, he struggles, and just wanted to over come them and live happily. I prayed for Hope and Molly (which is a great name, btw!--hehehe =} ) but for Ethan, I prayed the most. This particular story in this collection is a 5 star read!
The Wedding Wish: This story was the most heart wrenching of the 3 stories in this collection. Oh my goodness, you need to have tissues galore handy! It's a story of battling cancer, loss, friendship, love and hope all mixed with the wonderful love God. I fell in love with all the characters, from Riley to Leah to little Fiona! Truly a great addition to this amazing collection. The Wedding Wish also gets a 5 star rating for being one that captures, takes you on a roller coaster of emotions and let's God shine through! Montana Sky: The final story in this anthology is another wonderful example of Loree's great talent! I was captured by this story, too, and hated to see this amazing collection come to an end. But in this particular story, Loree brings two amazing people together in this story, Chet and Sky...they have both sworn off love forever. But God has other plans for them. After reading the first two stories in this collection, Montana Sky ends the book with a lighter story. It's a story full of love and God's amazing work that you will be sad to say goodbye! I know I was. This story also deserves 5 stars. Well done, Loree! I recommend this book to everyone who wants a mixtures of christian fiction: love, sadness, loss and hope. All these stories combined those things for one fantastic read!

PREVAILNG LOVE,
By Tamara Tilley (Hume Lake, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Prevailing Love: Montana Sky / The Wedding Wish / Sealed with a Kiss (Paperback)
PREVAILING LOVE is a collection of three very different love stories in very different settings.
SEALED WITH A KISS is the story of Ethan Burke who becomes an unexpected father to Molly, his best friends' eleven-year-old daughter. Molly, shocked and devastated with the loss of her parents hides away within herself and silences herself from the world. Ethan, trying to break through this wall Molly has erected, hires Hope Majors, a Christian counselor. Hope reach through the barriers to Molly's heart and in the process touches Ethan's heart as well. THE WEDDING WISH brings two high school friends together as they work to comfort their mutual friend with terminal cancer. What they don't know is while Leah feels her life slipping away, she is orchestrating the future for her infant daughter, Fiona. MONTANA SKY finds Sky Allen, hometown veterinarian, protecting two wolves after their mother is killed. With a bounty on their heads, Sky must do all she can to keep the wolves whereabouts a secret. Chet Cozart, a neighboring rancher, knows exactly what Sky is doing, and fears for her safety. As he tries to persuade her to give up her cause, he finds himself drawn to the women with grit and termination. I enjoyed all three of Loree Lough's stories. I found myself enjoying the quick pace that the stories took in order to keep their page count down, but at times, I would've liked to have seen and experience more details and learned more about the characters. I'm not a fan of compilations, but PREVAILING LOVE definitely kept my interest.

A Beautiful Anthology of Christian Romantic Fiction,
By
This review is from: Prevailing Love: Montana Sky / The Wedding Wish / Sealed with a Kiss (Paperback)
Loree Lough's compilation entitled "Prevailing Love" is a collection of three unrelated novels in one volume. The writing is easily read and flows well. Each plot seems to evolve naturally although a few moments feel a bit rushed or forced. The situations are gripping and sometimes sentimental, sometimes thought-provoking. I will definitely put this author on my list of people to keep an eye out for their work. And I will snap up her writing projects because I know that God plays a prominent role in her stories.
"Sealed With A Kiss" is the story of Molly, a young girl who is tragically orphaned in Europe and goes to live with her wealthy "uncle" in the United States. Molly hasn't spoken since Uncle Ethan broke the news of her parents' demise, so he hires a Christian counselor to help Molly work through her grief. What Ethan doesn't expect is to fall head-over-heels in love with Hope, Molly's counselor. Hope has her own demons, but when some of Ethan's past comes knocking at the door, can these three people work through their respective issues to become the family that it seems they were meant to be? Leah Jordan is in a race against time in "The Wedding Wish". As she loses her battle with cancer, this woman wants to see several things happen. First, she must see that her two-year-old daughter, Fiona, is taken care of. The best way she can see this taking place is if her two best friends from childhood marry and agree to take her. But this matchmaking may not be too easy. Jade has a career and recently ended a relationship. Riley is a veterinarian who has sworn off women. Leah certainly has her hands full, but with a lot of help from God, could this really be a match made in heaven and a solution for giving Fiona a loving home? "Montana Sky" is the tale of a cattle rancher, Chet Cozart, and a veterinarian, Sky Allen. Both have sworn off of romance after tragically losing a loved one. When the plot thickens as Sky tries to save a pair of wolves that lost their mother to a bounty hunter, these two lonely hearts may team up for more than just an animal rights cause.
