Great reference book, April 19, 2008

I have used this book more times than I can count for information on a particular food- for instance, Yucca. I had no idea the value and nutrients in this food. An eye opener. It gives all the allergy iinformation and best way, nutritionally, to cook item. Looking for sodium contents... fat contents.... fast food info....it is all there and easy easy easy to read. Highly recommended!

MY NEW FOOD BIBLE!!!, November 23, 2008

I absolutely love this book. As a nutritionist it is so hard to tell my clients what foods are better for them and what foods they should avoid without having written facts to show them. This book is easy to understand, wonderfully organized, and contains so many foods that it is rare that my clients present me with something I cannot find within this book! I've loaned it to numerous patients so they can see for themselves that what they are eating is either good or not as good a choice nutritionally. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who wants a comprehensive, easy to follow guide for the strengths, weaknesses, and cautions (allergies, etc) of the foods they eat!!!
