The subtitle is 250 Delicious Recipes Using Nature's Healthiest Foods. This cookbook is user friendly and non-intimidating. It combines fresh ingredients with simple instructions to create really easy good-tasting low-fat, high nutrition dishes. Complete nutritional information is included in each recipe. There is an emphasis on using really delicious ingredients that many people would have as basics in their kitchen. Many vegetarian options. This cookbook is interesting to read and use.

The Foods for Super Health (Nutritional Value) section was especially helpful where it tells what each food is good for (cholesterol, calcium, fiber, etc.). We bought this book used from Amazon after trying the Swiss Chard recipe in a friend's book. The Swiss Chard recipe (page 275) was quick, easy, and very good.

I've only made a few recipes from this yet, but they've all been delicious and not complicated or difficult. It's just good food. I wish there were pictures for every recipe , which is why I gave it four stars. I really prefer a lot of photos in my cookbooks, and this does not have a lot of photos.
