Book Description

January 1, 2001
Lyndhurst, South Africa, is a struggling mining town; struggling against one of the nation's perennial problems - illicit diamond buying. As long-term business partners and friends, Mr Fink and Mr Gottlieb have grown weary of the trials that the illicit diamond buying presents and find themselves tempted away from the straight and narrow. In this compassionate and humorous novel, Jacobson has created some powerful characterisations with serious, underlying themes hidden beneath the comedy.
