Much better than expected!,

"Paranormal romance" isn't particularly my "thing." I read this book at the suggestion of a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The "good parts" are downright HOT. The "mystery" keeps the reader engaged. If you're looking to "escape" into the magical world of reading, this is a great choice. It's hot, fast and fun!

Excellent! Never got bored! Couldn't put it down! The thrill, the excitement the romance, the mystery - it was definitely a great story.
I couldn't wait to find out if Erin was really pregnant (I suspected it from the first clue having three kids of my own). I couldn't wait to see if she and Drakor would end up together; and they did -- which made me happy. I LOVED IT! Can you write a sequel? I would love to know what happens with Ankra and what the government puts her through. How Sittora grows up. What it's like for Erin living with aliens on their planet and how her baby is born. What happens with Greg with his relationship with Ankra now that the government has her. It leaves my mind wandering.......oh and what does Erin do when she doesn't show up to work....

This was one of the worst books I ever read. Nothing sexy or romantic, really bad bad plot, unlikeable characters, super unintelligent space traveling aliens. I love sci-fi and paranormal romance books, so was really disappointed I wasted my money on this loser book.

The Price of Discovery,
This review is from: The Price of Discovery (Paperback)
Erin Price is a reporter in search of a big story, so she can get a big promotion. She thinks she's found one with the strange people that inhabit the large Victorian house outside town. The house is near the site of where a John Doe was found dead earlier.
Drakor has come to Earth with his family, which includes his two sisters, his younger brother and his parents for several reasons. He wants to find the body of his friend, Alaziri; and his family is working to find a gene that will help the people of Elliac deal with their inability to process Vitamin D. Erin and Drakor are instantly attracted to each other, but Drakor knows that Erin can never be his Maharai or chosen mate, because she is an Earth woman. Erin and Drakor face many problems while finding their way into each other's hearts, including the family's inability to find the gene, and Erin's battle with a rival reporter. The Price of Discovery is an interesting novel full of complex characters and interesting situations. I enjoyed watching Erin and Drakor interact with each other. The supporting characters, especially Erin's brother Greg and Drakor's sister Ankra, liven up this story. Readers who enjoy out of this world romance will love The Price of Discovery.
