Price is Right for Honor and More, May 7, 2010
This review is from: The Price Of Honor: Book 1 Of The Minotaurs Of Algoron (Paperback)
As a huge fan of fantasy books, I was tempted into reading this. To be fair and honest though, I have never been one for stories on Minotaurs, I found it difficult to connect with the huge horned beasts. The Price Of Honor, however, changed this small detail for me. The characters are easily related to, especially those that are the main featured ones through out the book. Right from the beginning you are given a main character that you can relate to, horns or not.
One of the greatest things about this book is that while the details and descriptions paint a brilliant and tangible world, the reader is not left with pages of filler and hoping that something (be it plot or excitement) is coming soon. The reader gets that right off the first few pages. The story's movement flows and continuously engages the reader to turn one more page, and then an other, and another.
I was extremely pleased at the entirety of this book and look forward to more from the author.
