3.0 out of 5 stars Fun, but lacking
As a fan of game shows in general, I love getting my hands on home versions, especially when they're video games. I own both versions of Price on the Wii and DS, as well as Press Your Luck, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, and Hollywood Squares on the Wii. For Plug and Play games like this one I've got 1 vs. 100 and Wheel of Fortune also in my grasp.

It features the likeness and voice of Drew Carey (unlike the PC and Console versions), as well as announcer Rich Fields. There are hundreds of different prizes and trips to win, and lots of little nuances that Price is Right fans should appreciate.

In addition to the Contestants Row, Showcase Showdown (Big Wheel), and the Showcase Finale, there are 17 other pricing games:

- Any Number
- Cliff Hangers
- Dice Game
- Double Prices
- Flip Flop
- Grand Game
- Grocery Game
- Hole in One
- Hi Lo
- Lucky $even
- Money Game
- One Away
- Pick a Pair
- Punch a Bunch
- Plinko
- Range Game
- 3 Strikes

There are also bonus versions of several games you can unlock as you play.

Great fun to play alone, but a blast to play at parties with up to 9 people! A definite recommend. Note that this can be found for around $19.99 in most toy and department stores.

Here's the problem with Price is Right as a Plug and Play game. Without any licensed products it is impossible to tell the high-end items from the low-end. Playing a game for a generically described car, with a make that sounds vaguely like a real brand, is very disappointing and also quite difficult.

It's still a fun recreation of america's longest running game show, but it suffers from its lack of licensure.

If you're a die-hard fan, like I am, I say pick it up, otherwise stick to the Wii, DS, or iPhone versions that feature actual products

Love this game, my family and friends love playing it. We had a price is right party and it was so much fun. The only reason it didn't get a 10 was the quality of the picture could be better.
