Product Description

Editorial Review

Now in its 28th year, The Price Is Right game show is so familiar that you'll think you hear the theme music when you open up this new box version. It has 10 new games to test your knowledge of the prices of everyday items, such as dishwashing liquid and toasters. Of course, everyone knows that the real test comes in the Showdown Showcase. The game includes paper money, props for bidding, and pictures of prizes. And if you want to be like that MC extraordinaire, Bob Barker, you'll have to practice saying, "Come on down!" --Lynne Sampson

4.0 out of 5 stars Endless takes on TV's longest running game show!, October 12, 2000
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: The Price is Right Game; 1998 Edition (Board Game)
"The Price is Right" has lasted for nearly 30 years on CBS because it's fun to watch other people win stuff. Especially when they act foolish doing it. You lose that part of the game when you play at home. You also get the anti-climactic finish of not actually winning anything. But, it's a nice diversion from time to time. For the game show home game collector, this is a must. For the rest of you... probably not.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Game, June 10, 2001

This review is from: The Price is Right Game; 1998 Edition (Board Game)
This game is great it plays like the real Price is Right and some of the classic games that they play on the show is there also. The game comes with everything you need to start the real thing, but there is one thing missing in this game. The Showcase showdown, everybody should know, the infamous wheel they use to the game. Why did they leave that part out?

4.0 out of 5 stars The Price is Right for this game!, March 22, 2002

This review is from: The Price is Right Game; 1998 Edition (Board Game)
This game is very hard to set up all the pieces. When you put the dials together it rips the cardboard. The Prices all not acurate for the items. The showcase could be improved. The game is fun to play for all ages. The game is for 3+ players. But you can still play it more than 5 times and still have fun.
