This compass has a nice, simple appearance. One that would look appealing conveniently worn around the neck. Unfortunately, that's all it is good for because it does not work like an actual compass. At times, it gives the proper direction, but takes about 5 minutes to do so. I wouldn't trust it for trying to establish any direction in any circumstance. Comparing it to my accurate compasses, after waiting 5 minutes, the direction still isn't completely precise. Wouldn't recommend for those who desire a working compass. Would also recommend buying something nicer-looking for those who desire wearing a compass solely for show.

It was a bit bigger than I expected, but still nice. I wanted something I could put on a bracelet but this is the size of a watch face.

When I saw it online I was super excited. It would make a perfect gift for my boyfriend. When I got it I thought it was overpriced, the free little bag they gave me with it was tacky and the compass itself didn't work so great. If he were to use it on a trip he would get lost because you have to hold it flat on your palm and it doesn't even work well. Bad quality compass. It's cute but that's it. P.S. Please note that it's a PENDANT so don't expect a string or anything.

I bought these compasses for several members of my family for Christmas. They were a little larger than expected (think the size of a quarter), but I was really impressed with the weight and clean polished look of them. I put them on ball link chains and also on belt clamps for the gifts and all were very happy with their gifts. I would recommend them to everyone.

i bought this because it was one of the better looking lower priced compass necklaces. it looks just like the picture. its very nice and people compliment me about it all of the time. i would recommend this necklace to anyone.
