Price The Garmin website https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=87930 states the suggest retail price to be US$ 399.99. Where's amazon getting the list price of 499.99 from? The also boasted 70% off on GPS devices in their top 10 electronic deals they spam me with. Apparently the forgot to classify this device as a GPS.

I posted a large write up about Amazon's List Pricing issue on these. Amazon chose to delete the post instead of fixing the issue. I'm a bit upset about this. Its false advertising. I checked thru several of the new Garmin devices and not one had the correct List Price on Amazon. They artificially raised the List Price anywhere from $50 to $100 on every single one of the new Garmin devices. The "Suggested Retail Price" on Garmin much lower on Garmins site than on Amazon. Wonder how many other items that we believe that we getting such good deals on are the same.
