non organic surprise,

As a fan I was surprised at the amount of digital instrumentation on this effort. Although "Trance Dance" is a good example of Chick's exciting piano bursts, the very ordinary base lines hamper the track.In "Got a Match" the use of the pitch bender marks the track as ordinary, although the drum track is very exciting. Some of the guitar work is well played. With "Make a wish" one and two through "Blue Miles" a very interesting compromise between the genius that we all love and the experimental production finally arrives. Curious combination!
