non organic surprise, May 19, 2002

As a fan I was surprised at the amount of digital instrumentation on this effort. Although "Trance Dance" is a good example of Chick's exciting piano bursts, the very ordinary base lines hamper the track.
In "Got a Match" the use of the pitch bender marks the track as ordinary, although the drum track is very exciting. Some of the guitar work is well played.
With "Make a wish" one and two through "Blue Miles" a very interesting compromise between the genius that we all love and the experimental production finally arrives. Curious combination!

It rocked. If like Chick, then you like this album. It's smooth, boss, and fly-boy. Play to love it, love it to live it... the vida loca! Holy mega momma. Ity rocked
