As I have watched and listened to the production, I have so enjoyed the music so wonderfully. Mr. Davis captured the era in each score, but he also left room for those in this century to understand and enjoy such beauty. It is music I will always love to hear played in my home.

Carl Davis has bridged the gap on eras, July 9, 1999

Pride and prejudice was an amazing production for a jane austen novel. Carl Davis has made the movie even better by his excellent score. He has made it fun, moving, and deep with emotion. I salute you for it.
