The most gorgeous collection of modern Hawaiian music on CD. With an ear to harmonic qualities unique to Hawaiian music, this CD is the best example of modern Hawaiian music available. If you think you do not like Hawaiian music, check this collection out. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The heartbreaking beauty of this collection is unparalleled. Pour a glass of wine, snuggle up with someone you love, turn off the lights and relax. You're in for a surprise.

Hawaiian music doesn't get any better than this. If you want a CD that reaches into the soul of the Hawaiian spirit then this is the one for you. Keali'i Reichel is truly a master at what he does. He is my favorite Hawaiian artist and with the addition of the beautiful sounds from Uluwehi Guerrero and Kekuhi Kanahele you can't go wrong. I highly reccomend any CD from these three talented performers. Mahalo nui loa for sharing with me all that is the beauty and the spirit of the Hawaiian culture and pride. This is a masterpiece as is everything you do. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I will contiue to do. Aloha!

I have been enjoying the music of Keali'i Reichel since 1996. His fabulous voice has been well recorded and his discs have good sound. I was disappointed in this compilation disc because the sound quality of the non-Reichel recordings was poor.

This is traditional Hawaiian music--no relation to Don Ho! It is powerful and inspiring--I'm buying a copy to send to a friend.

A wide variety of traditional music - great listening for someone who is just beginning the Hawaiian music trail. Almost every selection is wondeful, and there are some real gems. This is delicious listening.

I enjoyed the greatest hits so much that I took a chance at another album. This one is alright. It's nothing special. I'm biased since I have lived in Hawaii, I have family still there, and I prefer the authentic Hawaiian chants over this attempt at modern Hawaiian music. Don't get me wrong, it's not a terrible album and I knew what I was buying. It just isn't for me. The music is nice, but not something I would go out and buy again. To me, it seemed as if the singers were trying way to hard to be mainland rather than Hawaiian. It all depends on what you're looking for for you to decide whether you'll like this one or not.
