I got this cd because of the song pissed off. I was surprised at the whole album, not a dog song on it. I turned on at least 6 or 7 friends to this, and the response was great. I would say hard rocks new found great band, hope their new one is as good as this. This one is a little heavy on the explicit side, but I don't mind. I would say their kind of like Hell Yeah for a comparison. Paul

If you can listen to this CD and not feel like banging your head into the nearest forgiving surface, the Air Supply CDs are over there. Get out of the way, Gramps.

Expect to hear a lot from the guys in the near future. We really needed some Texas based metal since the death of Dime, these guys deliver it! SDMF!

Got to see THC last night in Atlanta. They played before BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. they blew the roof off the place!!!

one of the best albums that i have, highly reccomend it. Great guitars, kick ass pounding drums and scorching vocals, cant wait till their next album

Pretty good cd, it is as good as the second album, these guys deserve more recognition!
I would recomend buying this if you like pantera damage plan, and ect. style of music

I loved it when this album FIRST came out.. It was released locally in their hometowns.. Sherman/Denison, TX.. Red Dirt all the way baby!

Pride Of Texas by Texas Hippie Coalition

This is one of the greatest finds of my short musical life! Pissed Off is a hella good anthem track. Riverbottom is great, Texas Tags and Clenched Fist rock too. Every song is awesome. I can just put it in, press play and let it go! The guys in the band are REAL. I've seen em a couple times and met em twice. If you are wondering... Just buy it! You won't regret it!

Gotta say not a great album, but is a damn good one. Nice to see a band that is writing no frills hard rock/metal. Don't misread these guys are definitely not Pantera reincarnate, although you can hear Pantera influence. Mix that with a little BLS and maybe some SOiL; I think this is a solid album that is worth a listen to anyone that is tired of over produced hard rock that sucks.
