Well, this guy from Ace of Base gave them the chance, they sing really good and trust me, if you love music you should have it in your collection, my favorite track is "Pride of Africa" and what can I say? I love Ace of Base as well!!!

This CD is great, especially for people who like Ace of Base-since most of the songs were written by Jonas Berggren of AoB. Marie and Linda's voices are really strong and meaningful to the lyrics, i recommend this highly-

Pride - Album made together with the hit-makers Jonas Bergren (Ace of Base) and John Ballard. Wow they made a strong album because all the songs are good, the best in my opinion is "Show me Love" it is a strong song. Most of the songs are slow but still good. Marie and Linda's NICE voice makes this album strong. I think anyone would like this album.

Yaki-Da gave us some of the best pop music to come out the 90s and yet no one knows who they are. Pride, their first album came out in 1994 and had a few moderate hits in Europe. The entire album was produced by Jonas Berggren, who is a member of Ace Of Base and writes most of their songs. Jonas also wrote all but 2 of the songs on Pride. The album is unique to say the least. It showcases Jonas' often strange lyrical and production style while also showing off the vocal talents of the two women who made up Yaki-Da. The songs are all infectious and beg to be listened to over and over again. There are times when the album sounds like Ace Of Base just sung by different people and the lyrics can make some people hesitate, but ultimately, Pride is one of the best pop albums I've ever heard.

Yaki-Da released a second album (without the help of Jonas Berggren) in 1998, titled A Small Step For Love. Again, it was an amazing album but was largely ignored and received a very limited release.
