I really like this product. I had no latin backround when I decided that my children should learn it. These DVD's have been the perfect supplement. If you want to make your homeschool latin class open and go, this is a great way to accomplish that goal.

I was somewhat disappointed with the Prima Latina instructional DVD. I bought the Latin program so my 2nd grader could learn Latin, and thought that the instructional DVD would be a fun accessory to the workbook. The Latin curriculum itself is good, incorporating vocabulary, pronunciation, tenses, and prayers. However, I was far from impressed with Ms. Lowe's Latin pronunciation. As a professional classical singer, I have been trained in the correct pronunciation of several languages. Latin vowels should be round and pure without diphthongs, and definitely shouldn't be spoken with a Southern accent! If you're going to publish a Latin curriculum, you should be sure the pronunciation is correct.
