5.0 out of 5 stars A must for Citabria owners and serious aviation buffs., September 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Primary Aerobatic Flight Training with Military Techniques (Paperback)
I have owned this book since I bought my first Citabria in 1977. Written when the Citabria first went into production in the 1960s, Art successfully adapted basic military aerobatic techniques for use in the Citabria. These techniques used to be taught to all military aviators during basic flight training before the advent of all jet training. What used to be common knowledge for tens of thousands of WWII and Korea era aviators is ably documented and just as applicable for sport aviators of the 21st century. You don't have to fly a Citabria to appreciate the straight forward explanations of basic aerobatics in this book. A must for any serious aviation library. Me? I've been a CFI since 1976 and flown aircraft from the J-3 Cub to the Lockheed U-2 to the Boeing 767 - and a lot more in between.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid Material From A Master Aviator, September 1, 2007
This review is from: Primary Aerobatic Flight Training with Military Techniques (Paperback)
Art is the real deal, the manual is quite good. Perhaps the presentation is a little dated/corny, but that does not detract from the valuable contents. I make it a point to at least look at anything Art Medore has written or taped, and so far I have not be disappointed.
