This was a required text in my PA program. While not many people in our class purchased it, or even read it if they did, I thoroughly enjoyed the text. The cases were helpful, and I feel like text was very helpful. This is definitely a book I will keep in my library, and likely re-read in the future. It was actually a pleasant read, and something that I think has helped me in clinical practice. It reminds you of the various issues that are unique to the elderly, and offers practical approaches to these patients. I would recommend this to any healthcare students or professionals.

For the class that I am taking, this book is well structured. The cases make it easy to follow the approach to care, and the decision algorithms.

I teach BSN students and this book will help teach them the difference in caring for the geriatric population
