The Brazilian titan died in 1994, but his lush legacy continues to influence and inspire scores of new musicians. This Prime trio includes 1965's pop-flavored The Wonderful World of Antonio Carlos Jobim, 1966's exquisite instrumental Love, Strings and Jobim, and 1967's A Certain Mr. Jobim, which included newer versions of songs featured on past albums. Throughout the set, Jobim's gentle grace and smart sophistication are front and center--even when his participation is limited. His tastes run from tropical to classical, from perky pop to easy listening, and everything sounds crisp and new. The original liner notes and album art are included for each disc.
