For the price, this bread box can't be beat. It's larger and roomer than we thought it would be - just right for bread, buns and an extra (bagels, muffins, cookies, etc.). Looks neat and nice on the counter. Well ventilated, too.

It's a great size. I have a family of 3 but we are big eaters. This bread box easily fit a full loaf of bread 1.5 bags of hot dog rolls and a thing of hamburger rolls. It's classy, slides open easy and matches my stainless steel appliances perfectly. Buy this one! You won't be sorry! Not tinney at all! Nice and sturdy!

Looks nice. Lots of room. Only downside is the door doesn't open as quite easily as I would like.

We ordered this on a Sunday, and we received it on Wed....this was with the free super saver shipping. Awesome!

As soon as I opened this, I loved it! We have stainless steel appliances, and it looks very, very nice on our counter.

It is BIG! I was able to put a loaf of bread, hamburger buns, and a sourdough bread loaf in there. There is still more room...It is big.

In all, I am very, very happy that we made this purchase. I don't think that it feels cheap or tinny at all. It opens and closes easily, and it seems to be good quality.

This bread box is just the thing! It's very substantial for the price. One reviewer said it was "tinny" but I don't see that. Enough room for 2 loaves and some buns. Had for a month now and bread actually stays fresh for weeks! Would buy this again.

Having read the reviews, I knew purchasing this would be a bit of a gamble:
It looks good, BUT due to the flimsiness of the metal, it may or may not arrive damaged.

I ordered it. My item arrived a few minutes ago....DAMAGED. :(

It was already starting to fall apart at the seams, leaving a gap when the door is closed---and would not sit flat on the counter (it wobbles.)

There were several things wrong with this item. First there were tape marks that wouldn't come off from the company's packing job. Second, it wasn't even level...it rocked back and forth at an angle. Finally, the doors wouldn't open or close easily. I can't believe how cheaply this was made. Do not purchase this.

At first I was happy with my breadbox. I hated my bread everywhere so this fit a loaf of bread nicely as well as some buns. However the item was wobbly but we don't mess around with it much to notice. Slowly it has rusted over and looks horrible. I'm afraid to buy a new stainless steel breadbox even though it matches the rest of my appliances. I'm probably going to go with a nice Bamboo one that costs much more but probably won't look horrible after a year.

I needed a cheap stainless steel bread box and this one fit the bill nicely. It's simple and looks nice on the counter although the stainless steel is light (feels like aluminum) and will probably dent easily if dropped. The cover opens smoothly and the inside space appears to be well-ventilated. There seems to be enough space for one complete loaf of bread and a bag of bagels or muffins.

The only real downside is the weight of this box. If only it felt a little more durable...

Very cheaply made, not much stronger than an aluminum can...arrived dented on top. Big, fits two giant loaves and closes well. Wish I had spent the extra few bucks for the next higher priced one.
