This pot is first-class: heavy bottom, strong and easy to hold handles, well-fitting lid, nice shape. It is beautiful as well as functional. I have seen similar in stores for almost twice the price. It sits nice and flat on my electric range, heats well and holds the heat for a long time, perfect for long cooking of soups and stews. It cleans up well, with nothing burning or sticking. I don't think one can do better.

This was a great buy - compared to others that cost several times as much, this is very well made. Heavy gauge ss, but not too heavy that it's a pain to use. Stainless rivets are strong and they do not rust. I like the plastic-covered stainless handles also, it's nice to be able to pick it up when it's hot without pot holders - especially since it's so big and you wouldn't want to drop it! This size is great for homemade stock &, cooking lobsters and crabs. I am a food blogger and cook a LOT. I have some very expensive pots/pans. I am very satisfied with the quality of this pot and highly recommend it. No need to spend more.

I've been extract brewing beer for over a year now and was looking to upgrade to a good 20 quart stainless steel pot. I purchased this one thru Amazon, five months ago, and have brewed several batches of beer with great results. I am overall pleased with the construction and durability of this Stock pot. I have seen pots of similar quality selling for much more. 18/10 stainless steel with a thick bottom - perfect! Priced at under [...] and free shipping; this is indeed a great value. I bought this stock pot because it claimed to hold 20 quarts. My main purpose was for home brewing. I was a little skeptical of the size when I took it out of the box, and it seems for good reason. I was only able to fill it with 16 quarts of water, a full gallon shy of my intended purpose.

- This is a huge pot, perfect for big party.
- Relatively easy to wash in standard sink.
- The pot top's border a bit hard to wash underneath.
- Stainless steel quality is ok, not the finest but it's good to have a pot not too heavy though.
- Great price.

This is a good solid pot. I use it to brew beer. The only complaint I have is that the lid doesn't seal tight to the pot.

I've had this pot for about 6 months now and it's been worth every penny. I make beer (boiling the wort), chili, batches of salsa and pasta sauce, and use it as a water bath canner for the above. It doesn't look "cheap" like other pots in this price category. My only complaint (and it's not enough to knock off a star) is that the outside rim is a little sharp.

I bought this for my wife. I know what your thinking, this is one step above getting her a vacuum lol! But not for my wife, she LOVES to cook and loves kitchen ware. She has been looking for a good oversized stock pot for years. She did not want to spend hundreds of dollars, which they easily get for these pots. This pot, for the quality, is a steal.

I am no expert, but the wife says this pot is well built. It doesn't flex when its full and the bottom of the pot is thick with a design that distributes heat and doesn't burn everything, a big complaint of her's about other pots. I guess that is something a cook would understand!

So there you have it, if you already bought your sweetie that vacuum for the last holiday, how about a pot? They will love you for it, I promise!

My wife uses this for cheese making and I've used it for some large pots of chili. Pot is very sturdy, well made and handles don't get hot. The pot is not too tall either, good height if you are worried about clearance with a low oven hood. Also used it to brine a turkey. Great all purpose pot!

Just received this pot. It is a nice pot, with a nice thick bottom. I filled it up with water to a level I would be comfortable boiling liquid at, about 1.5" from the top, and to my surprise it only holds just under 3.5 gallons. I would understand if it was 20 quarts to the rim of the pot, but it is barely 16! It is a nice pot for the price, but definitely not as big as advertised.
