I purchased and received this set of colanders in Oct 2008. They look beautiful but to my dismay and shock, after only 2 uses to drain pasta, one handle fell off the large colander and the bottom is coming off the medium size colander! It's as if the parts were glued with washable glue that has come off upon hand washing, as I don't have a dishwasher in my apt. I am quite upset to see how poorly made these colanders are! Don't waste your money on these! I gave it a star only because the review page won't let me proceed without a rating - but they don't merit even one star!

Crap construction. Handles fell off. I read the other reviews and bought them anyway. No big loss since they were cheap as crap. I will use these until I can afford quality colanders. Buy them with the knowledge that the handles will fall off. Also the quality of the metal and finishing is very poor. Either way, they will work for a few months, then into the trash.

Great deal, three for the price of what you'd pay for one in a store. Only problem is the handle on the middle one was off. Didn't feel like shipping them back, so I'm living with it. Love them though!

THIS SET WAS DISPLAYED AS A REASONABLE VALUE FOE THE INVESTMENT. TODAY, IT ARRIVED AND WE ARE DISGUSTED WITH THE POOR GRADE OF MATERIAL USED IN THE MANUFACTURE AS WELL AS THE PIECES NOT BEING CLEAN FROM THE STAMPING DURING THE PRODUCTION PROCESSES. BLACK MATERIAL HAD TO BE SCRAPED FROM MANY OF THE HOLES AND THE PIECES GENERALLY RANK OF VERY THIN, LOW QUALITY MATERIAL. I AM SORRY I WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PURCHASE.

Boy is it nice The store great nested and the deep bowls are great. I didnt think i would have used the smaller one but it really comes in handy
