3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, April 2, 2006
By
This review is from: Prime (Audio CD)
I bought this CD specifically because I couldn't find anywhere else Rachael Yamagata's rendition of "I Wish You Love", which was played at the end of the film. The soundtrack CD doesn't have the same version of the song that was used in the film, so buyer beware.

5.0 out of 5 stars A really great collection of songs., December 7, 2005

This review is from: Prime (Audio CD)
Before the movie came out, you were able to listen to little snippets of the movie's music on the web site. I love this soundtrack. A great mixture of jazz (Stacey Kent) and some great indie music (Le Tigre). Perfect to play for a dinner party or a gathering of friends.

This is really the only soundtrack that I like all the songs.

Buy it, you won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars a great compilation, February 6, 2006

corduroyleroy (Berlin, Germany) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Prime (Audio CD)
A great compilation of songs from a wide range of artists and genres - some of it's introspective, some of it you'll want to dance to; all of it sort of stays with you. I wasn't too sure about the pieces from Ryan Shore, but they certainly don't detract from the composition. I've heard this cd at dinner parties where it drew alot of comments, especially the tracks from Duke Ellington/ John Coltrane and Rachel Yamagata.
