Editorial Reviews

Review

Greenman and Stonehouse have compiled a wealth of essential information for high-quality infant and toddler programs. Prime Times should be required reading for every caregiver. -- Paula Jorde Bloom, Ph.D., Professor of Early Childhood Education, National-Louis University

Two of my favorite infant/toddler experts have written a book together. Hooray! And what a bookcomprehensive in scope, rich in detail, and studded with gems of wisdom. Reading this book is like being there in the 'real world' with a wise observer at your elbow helping to clarify what your seeing. -- Janet Gonzalez-Mena, Author --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

The book is straightforward, authoratative and easy to read. The authors are not ivory tower academics: they have had plenty of hands-on experience. As a college/university textbook it should be compulsory reading. As a professional text, it is a necessary purchase.

This book gives you the skinny on what is important for the care of infants and toddlers. Then it provides detail for creating the experiences that make all the difference. A perfect book for the beginner and to expand the expertise of the seasoned caregiver.
