Editorial Reviews

Review

"For the most part, the editors have successfully attempted the art of the primer... And among this book's 83 contributors, limited to up to six pages each, there is something for every taste... this is one slim book that one hopes will fatten with time and have many lives."
--TRENDS IN NEUROSCIENCE

5.0 out of 5 stars Primer -- a good starting point, May 24, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Primer on the Autonomic Nervous System (Paperback)
This book provieds an excellent overview of the autonomic nervous system and the disorders that can have a devestating impact on those who suffer from dysautonomia. The book provides a breakdown of the disorders into subcatagories and provides good reference materials as well as contact information for each of the authors.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Really a Primer of Function but Rather a Handbook of Disorders, January 17, 2011

This review is from: Primer on the Autonomic Nervous System (Paperback)
The title says it. This is geared for a medical intern on night call, not a student of human functioning
