superb intro to structure of behavioral theories,

This review is from: Primer in Theory Construction, An A&B Classics Edition (Paperback)
I read this book as a grad school and then used it many years later when teaching an undergrad seminar. I loved it, and the students did, too.
The book is incredibly concise, clear. The book starts with the idea of concept and works its way (quickly) up to theories. Then the link between theory and empiricism is explored very briefly. If you have ever wondered what a "theory" is or by what criteria you could judge one, this is your book.

This book is part of the required readings for my theory construction class, I find it dry and difficult to understand. The plus side is that it`s short.
