5.0 out of 5 stars Arsenio goes out with a bang, November 28, 2004

This review is from: Primitivo (Audio CD)
One the great cuban master's last recordings, and it is tremendous! My favorite recording of his, and unlike any other. With Cachao on bass and Monguito on vocals, the chemistry on these sessions is enormous. "Fiesta en el solar" and "Lo que dice Justi" are highlights.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best tres player ever, October 19, 2006
This review is from: Primitivo (Audio CD)
This album is by far the best tres playing and rumba tracks I have. Nobody plays tres with better rhythm or more authority than Arsenio Rodriguez. I listen to this along with Cachao Master Sessions Vol. 2 more than any other recordings I have. Now if I could only get a copy of Arsenio's La Pachanga.
