So unless you keep buying their water the bottle ends up in the landfill.

As others have said you are buying the cheap plastic bottle when you first start purchasing from Primo.

The generic lids/caps sold next to the Primo bottles do not fit the bottles.

I have been buying this water in the 5 gallon size at our local Lowe's store for the past 6 months. I have been very happy with the taste. There is no plastic taste from the bottle. We have a large family of 7 and we go through a lot of water! I am happy to have my children drink a lot of water and I feel it is better for our health than juice and soda. When we are finished with a bottle we recycle it at Lowe's. I believe it is $12.99 initially and $5.99 a bottle when you return a bottle.

Definitely no plastic taste in any bottles I got. I purchased 2 from Lowes.

They do not have a cap, but rather a 1 time plastic seal. Has anyone purchased a cap so they can refill these? Publix has a 5 gal refill for $1.50. I want to make that work but I will need to find a cap that fits so I dont spill it all on the ride back.

I don't ever write reviews, but when I saw how poorly people were slandering this water, I thought I had to say something.
I've been buying Primo water for 3-4 years now. The water tastes good and I've never had any issues with the bottles, so don't always listen to all the negativity out there.

I have been buying Primo water at Lowes. I think that the taste is very good. No plastic taste. You can't get your deposit on the bottle back without buying a new bottle. However, you can leave the bottle at Lowes if you just want to get rid of it.

Primo sells empty bottles and they have water dispensers to fill up the bottles but they do NOT make lids/caps. The generic lids/caps sold next to the Primo bottles do not fit the bottles.

As others have said you are buying the cheap plastic bottle when you first start purchasing from Primo. If you ever decide to stop buying Primo water your stuck with the bottles. In my case four of them. In the 2 years I used them several turned out to be leaking once I got home. There are too many other options for water to mess with these people.
