I've been a fan of Mystical Sun, since I found his music on mp3.com years ago. This album is a great listen. Both relaxing as background music and engaging to sit and listen to. It's peaceful and atmospheric, but has more going on than some Steven Roach I've listened to. There's an understated rhythm throughout.
Well worth the listen.

This CD is exotic, mysterious, and invokes the power within as a serpent rising glistening from the womb of a mysterious world. If this makes sense to you, so will this cd. Deeper Worlds is good, but there is something about this one. Amazing.

What a wonderful way to relax. Big hit in our house. Amazon was a great way to shop. The post office lose the first CD and Amazon provided me a way to contact them and I got it the day after I emailed. Efficient!

The first albums I had heard by Mystical Sun were Energy Mind Consciousness and Deeperworlds, both of which had a very uplifting power, although I got the sense that there was something more mysterious to the flow of Energy Mind Consciousness. But then I found Primordial Atmospheres. This album literally takes the listener on an evolutionary journey through his/her psyche, cutting through the sharp corners of active consciousness, and resonating deeply with the heart and spirit within. This is the perfect type of album for lying in a comfortable, darkened place with nothing but headphones or speakers. The songs flow into one another and throughout the album the vibe builds and eventually climaxes with the 30+-minute Journey to Samadhi. One mystical experience I've had in my life (at least) was built up in the aura of Primordial Consciousness.

Mystical Sun's music flows from his heart, although he might tell you that it's been soft-encoded into the ancient DNA within him. Give this album a listen... if you've been trying to find a captivating ambient world with similar depth to those of artists like Ishq/Ishvara/Elve or Carbon Based Lifeforms, you will be pleasantly surprised. Prepare to enter a meditative state. Let go, relax, and experience true peace.
