This turned out to be a great produce. I purchesed the triger stick tri pod because my father in-law had a mule deer hunt comming up and knowing that he is'nt very steady I though It would be a good idea. My father in-laws has a number of health problems like not being able to bend his joints when he gets cold so I knew that my shooting stick were to short. When I opened them up I was glad to see the legs were metal as well as the joints. They slid up and down great and was glad to see how quickly you could adjust it. They are not nearly as compact as my shooting stixs but my stick don't have the adjustablity nor stability that the trigger stick has. I've taken them on two hunts now and love them , I use them my self and have left my shooting stixs back at camp. They also are exellent for steading bino's when glassing with the legs extended fully. Two hunts later and two bucks on the wall, I love this product!

The product worked excellent for standing shots, or modified kneeling shots, do not expect to use this product for sitting shots. Appears to be well constructed and had no problems using the item. A little bulky to carry all day in the field, therfor I would reccommend the shorter tripod for all day field use. In review, I would have been happier with the shorter tripod which would have been easier to carry and able to be used both sitting, kneeling, and prone.

My shoulders are little weak with age; trigger stick works like a charm - rock steady rest - easy to use - light weight and simple to adjust - could not be a better product and worth the $$ss - highly recommended...

If your looking for the Primos Trigger stick with three legs, this is it! You'll love it!

Not quite certain why some reviewers were unable to use this in a sitting position unless they are sitting on the ground without a chair. I use a folding cane camp seat (has 3 legs that fold together, a canvas seat and a handle) and the height of this tripod provides a comfortable shooting position using this chair. My camp seat is the same as the one listed on Amazon under "Portable Walking Chair (Cane / Stool) from The Stadium Chair Company" Portable Walking Chair (Cane / Stool) from The Stadium Chair Company. The two of them used together make a very portable and stable shooting platform for long term stationary situations. I also purchased the Primos short bipod and it is only suitable for sitting on ground, kneeling or kneeling while sitting on rear leg shooting positions. If you are realistic and don't expect sandbag stability this is a wonderful piece of equipment; light to carry, easy to deploy and quite stable.

This was a early present from my family and it works like a dream the legs extend together or individually. The stand is rock solid where ever you use

it on level ground or on unlevel ground it works perfect plus the swivle is worth it's wieght in gold.

Great set of sticks. It is solid and well made. This set will require you to shoot off a stool for hunting apps or a standing or kneeling position. The top can be locked in place of set to swivel by adjusting a wheel on the handle. Over all I love it and I know I will get many years of use with it.

I was very excited about this purchase...Testing it at home in a controlled enviroment was great. I just returned from a Northern montana deer hunt, and the weather was very cold. The trigger stick failed miserably!! It lost all of it's function several times while stalking mule deer in the below freezing temps!! I would not recomend this product to anyone hunting below freezing. Dissapointed.

The tripod model is the only way to go and the trigger stick makes adjustment very fast and easy. The only down side that I could find with it was that it makes a little noise when you are setting up. But all in all its the best shooting stick that i have found.

Works well. Trigger part is not aligned exactly how I would prefer, but isn't a bother. One thing that is pretty good is that each leg is independent so on uneven ground it still can be made level. It is a little to high for me sitting, have to kneel when it is at the lowest setting.
