This camera has allot of great features that you can't find on other cameras and it takes lot's of pictures, but unfortunately it usually misses the intended target. I set this thing up in various positions from various distances both day and night and got varied results, none spectacular but it works to a degree...sent it back and got a Reconyx HC600....don't regret it at all...if you want pictures of everything that passes in front of your camera I recommend buying American...buy Reconyx.

I sure hate it when companies try to sell product when they don't and can't ever sell.

So I bought this camera at a Cabela's in Dec. of 2010 and thought it was going to be a good purchase. Primos usually has great products, but this was a huge exception to that. I put the camera out in late bow season to scout but needless to say, whiteout photos and failure to power on was what I found a week after setting the camera out. I called Primos and they replaced the camera. I let it sit and did not put it out until June of 2011. After 3 weeks of being in the field the camera would not power on at all. Brand new batteries that I had just purchased. Upon closer inspection the camera had moisture inside of it. A call to Primos and the camera was replaced for the second time. I am now on the third camera. The first two weeks it seemed to work fine but now into the 4th week of being out in the field I again had a failure to power on. I had to pull the camera and take it back home and take the batteries out. I let it sit for an hour or two and then put the batteries back in. The camera then powered back on? The battery reading said it was full power. For $280 I should not be having this many problems. As a gentleman said before buy American. The X-cam is not even available at Cabela's or BassPro any more. That should say something! I would steer clear from this line of cameras.
