These Woven Cotton Blankets are Yummy!!! I want more!!! Elegant, soft, gorgeous and my new favorite blanket on our bed!!! We are blanket officionatos now--because we have lots and I've recently purchased even more different kinds of blankets. (I reviewed some of them as well) Woven Cotton blankets just look more expensive and decorative then other kinds of blankets. We rotate 5 different blankets on our King Size Bed to cover our down comforter and not only mix and match with the decor but to protect from the dirt or hair that we or our animals would deposit, while lounging.
UPDATE--had this blanket for a while now. Still like it very much. ALTHOUGH--the it now has many threads that are loose from the Animals nails. I would recommend a different KIND of blanket if you have a few animals on the bed.

This Cotton Woven blanket would look good thrown over a couch or chair. I always get the most compliments on the looks of my cotton woven blankets, however, my WOOLRICH Down Throws are the most popular on our couches for warmth.

This SAGE color is luscious. I recently purchased 2 different brands of SAGE and it's interesting how differently it can be interpreted. This one was more of a light apple color or peridot green. Ohhh soooo very pretty. The woven pattern is elegant on our bed and it makes the leaves pop from the sheets and the comforter, which is folded at the bottom. I love that it's lightweight yet heavy enough and is a high quality blanket.

I usually buy blankets (we have need for many) at discount places but I found this to be well worth the great price offered here. It was free shipping too. One of my better purchases here through Amazon. My husband really likes it and he is a bit of a snob about blankets. Every time I walk in the room, I give a happy sigh. I hope this helps with your blanket purchases.
UPDATE--still like the blanket but the threads are loose. I would not recommend this blanket with animals.

The quality left a lot to be desired. After only a few days use and one washing (first one), there are several areas where it's coming apart. It's not as soft as some reviews indicated. It's just OK. Ended up folding it and putting it away to use for moving or something similar later on. Took out the micro-fiber one that I forgot I had and am still using it.

We purchased this blanket in purple. When it came time to wash the blanket, I wisely decided to wash it alone instead of in with the jeans and other dark items. Washing in cold water, this blanket turned the wash water a delightful shade of purple - almost looked like grape juice. It produced an incredible amount of lint both in the washer and in the dryer - I stopped the dryer cycle several times to clear the lint filter. Other than that, this is a fine lightweight blanket - just right for fall or spring when sleeping with the windows open.

It doesn't have the satin banding typical of some blankets, but the quality of this blanket itself is excellent. It is generously sized, cut true, and the lavender was a very close match to the advertised color. The weave is secure without being too tight, just what you would expect in a lightweight thermal blanket. The price (at least when I bought it) was less than half that of comparable blankets online or at Target, and I'd consider it an excellent value.

Yes I suppose the description is accurate. it is a COTTON blanket. ... However, I was not impressed with the quality --not soft, not made well (and it shows!). I was hoping for a more cozy blanket that looks nice.

Great lightweight cotton blanket. It settles in over you and really blocks out that pesky cold air! Perfect for spring and fall.

THE BLANKET IS NICE BUT NOT VERY WARM. LIGHTWEIGHT GOOD IN THE SPRING AND FALL. NOT FOR WINTER USE.

This was a pretty color but a bit thinner than I expected. The cotton is also a little scratchy.

This is a nice cotton blanket that works well as the second blanket on the bed. It is durable and holding up well to my household and we tend to be a little rough on things. It still looks brand new after several washings and the weave is still in place also. I am pleased with the product and will purchase it again.

These blankets are just okay. The colors are not very true to the colors represented. They bleed a lot when you wash them. They are not soft. There are a lot of loose yarns coming out. I have been using them for years but, would not buy them again if I had the choice.
