Rather than use tea bags, Primula flowering teas are made by artisans in China and are comprised of hand sewn AA grade White Tea that's blended with natural vanilla flavor. This package includes only white tea with 12 different color flower arrangements. For ultimate teatime enjoyment, pair Primula's flowering tea with one of its clear, glass teapots to view the unfolding beauty.
Each flower can be used three times within a 24 hour period and can brew a total of approximately 15 cups of tea--for over 250 cups of tea in this package. The flowers come in a sealed foil with a 2-1/2-year shelf life. All of Primula Flowering Teas are made from the finest all natural tea leaves, but it is not certified organic, and it is inspected and certified by CIQ, a special Chinese governing agency that works with the approval of the FDA.
Does the tea have Caffeine?
Tea's caffeine level is based mostly on the amount of time that the tea is cooked. Typically, darker (more cooked) teas have higher levels of caffeine. Green Tea contains approximately one quarter of the caffeine found in the same size cup of coffee, while White Tea contains approximately half of the caffeine of Green Tea.
How long do I have to brew my tea for?
Personal preference is the only rule. We recommend 5-7 minutes per pot, but it's best to experiment to find out your own preference first.
How do I re-brew my flower?
We recommend using each Primula Tea Flower up to 3 times in a 24 hour period. After you have enjoyed your first pot of tea, just pour hot water back over the flower and allow it to brew to your desired strength. Many people say that the second pot of tea actually produces the best flavor.

Simply place the tea pod in the bottom of the tea pot or mug. Pour boiling water over the tea pod. As the tea steeps the pod will unfurl into a colorful flower. A clear, glass tea pot is recommended to fully enjoy the stunning, floral display. However, the tea flower works just as well in your favorite mug. This unique, specially chosen blend of white tea with vanilla is the same for all 12 flowers included. The flower for each bloom is different and will create a different visual experience each time. Primula tea flowers are individually foil sealed with a 2-1/2-year shelf life. Each tea flower will steep 3 times and makes 15 cups of tea. Each Tea flower can be stored in the covered teapot or a plastic container, and kept in the refrigerator until you want to re-steep it one or two more times.

I purchased these to go along with my new Primula Flowering Tea Set with 40-Ounce Pot, 6 Flowering Teas, Loose Tea Variety Pack. While the pot came with Jasmine, I enjoy a mild tea, and the White Tea with Vanilla seemed a good choice.
I just made my first pot, and I am very impressed. Not only do the flowers have all of the color (mine were similar to the Pinkish red and white ones in the photos), but the tea is wonderful. I ended up taking a long phone call after I poured my first cup, and the second cup was a little stronger, but still very mild. It has a gentle vanilla flavor, with a touch of tea - obviously, the white tea is a very nice blend - no aftertaste, just a gentle, soothing flavor. I think the price is very good as well, since this doesn't just make 12 cups, it makes 12 pots (or up to 36 pots if you take advantage and reuse them as the instructions say)of just over a quart of tea. And, they are individually wrapped to keep them fresh - a very nice touch! FIVE STARS. I WILL buy these again!

This product is amazing. It smells great and has a gentle vanilla/flower taste.
It is an assortment of vanilla floral white teas, each different in appearance. Instructions say that each foil bag is good for three, 5 cup pots. That's OK but 5 cups of water is not enough to enjoy the beauty of this little ball of tea as it unfurls and reveals the flower and leaves inside. I use 12 cups in a clear glass coffee carafe, and watch the art unfurl before my eyes. The second pot I made had an inner stalk inside the flower that reached all the way to the top of the water when unfurled. Each flowering tea becomes a unique work of art. Be sure to use a clear glass pot and settle for 12 cups instead of 15, each pot progressively weaker. I just leave the flower in until the pot is empty. Works for me.

Really nice, smooth flavor with a lovely light vanilla overtone; nice scent, love the beautiful unfolding flower - plus different colors and flowering designs come in one box, same flavor. Makes many cups of tea with refills of hot water in the pot. Any leftover tea can be kept in the refrigerator with more water added later on. Tastes great hot or cold. I used the suggestion of buying a replacement glass coffee maker pot in order to see the unfolding flower design; it's very inexpensive and seems a much better alternative to buying a pricey glass teapot - none of the teapots have gotten good reviews for sturdiness or longevity. You get a LOT of tea from each flower, so the price is quite reasonable and much more fun than a teabag or loose tea in a strainer.
