5.0 out of 5 stars Large Wonderful Tea Pot
This is a wonderful glass tea pot. As the tea flower blooms you watch the green tea brew and expand.

The glass teapot was very durable. I used this on the stove and then put my tea infuser (that comes with the pot) inside the pot after the water cooled a little bit.

Also, it was easy to clean without any worries of staining.

2.0 out of 5 stars handle leaks on first use
I got this product as a Christmas gift. The first time I poured hot water in, it started leaking all over the counter. I can't really tell how, but somehow water is leaking out at the point where the base of the handle is attached to the pot. It didn't appear to be cracked (as in another review) but it is clearly not functional. I had already opened the flower and so...

The handle was easy to grab and manuever which is important because the water inside is so hot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Handsome glass teapot with infuser, November 21, 2007
This review is from: Primula Glass Stovetop Tea Pot with Infuser (Kitchen)
This is the first glass teapot I have had and the first one I have had with an infuser and I am perfectly delighted with it. It is also much handsomer than the usual curved glass teapots, which makes it an attractive centerpiece on a coffeetable or other small table.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely My Cup of Tea!, February 5, 2008
This review is from: Primula Glass Stovetop Tea Pot with Infuser (Kitchen)
I was looking for a glass teapot that I could use in the microwave since I don't have a tea kettle for the stove top.

I was afraid that my good china teapots would explode in the microwave and most other glass ones I found had some type of metal on them.

The glass is thin and the water heats quickly. I wish this were cheaper but it really is the only one of its type available.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

As the title says, it's just a little teapot. But it's an attractive, and functional item. It's very easy to use, and clean. Shipping was fast, and price was reasonable. It was a good purchase, and I'm very satisfied!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!, February 11, 2011
This review is from: Primula Glass Stovetop Tea Pot with Infuser (Kitchen)
Flowering tea is really taking off and a glass teapot is essential. I wanted one and got this as a christmas surprise a couple of years ago. I still have, the tea is delicious, and this teapot way more versatile than a standard ceramic, metal or even other glass teapots. I am so happy with it! There are som reviews about the cracking due to shipping, but I did not have a problem with mine and it was shipped from Florida to Nebraska. And I bet the majority of people have had no issues with cracking!

I ordered this for my Mom on Mother's Day. My four year old son enjoyed watching the flower "bloom" and Mom and I enjoyed the tea. If you like your tea strong you will want the flower pod to steep for a good 15 minutes, so the steeping will take longer than using a traditional tea bag. However, the entertainment value is worth it.

2.0 out of 5 stars handle leaks on first use, January 8, 2011

I got this product as a Christmas gift. The first time I poured hot water in, it started leaking all over the counter. I can't really tell how, but somehow water is leaking out at the point where the base of the handle is attached to the pot. It didn't appear to be cracked (as in another review) but it is clearly not functional. I had already opened the flower and so I just brewed my tea in a bowl instead. The tea was delicious but the pot is useless.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for a stovetop, December 30, 2010
This review is from: Primula Glass Stovetop Tea Pot with Infuser (Kitchen)
I do not know how every one else's experiences with this pot were so different from my own, but the first time I tried to put the pot on the stove, it began to burn, and make a strange smell. So, after the first use, the bottom of my pot is already scarred. I can assure you, there was nothing on the stove top, it was the pot itself that was burning. I used an electric stove, as opposed to a gas, but I do not see why that should make a difference.

The infuser is very nice, as is the look of the pot. However, if you are looking for a pot to put on the stove, this is not it!
