Mary E. Coe, born in Florence SC, moved to Washington, DC with her family at the age of 17 where she lived for seven years. Mary moved to California in 1965, where she got married and raised five children. She and her spouse are now the proud grandparents of 11 grandchildren. She is the author of 6 books. Two children's plays, two children's story books, a book of short stories and a book of poems. She was founder and director of the All City Youth Performing Arts Group (ACYPAG) 1982-1989; a group of young performers ages 8-18 who performed at places such as The L. A. County Fair, Senior Citizen Homes and Children's Homes. Mary has been an Online Content Producer since 2007.
