4.0 out of 5 stars Top of the line racquet, but no string, October 28, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This model is the latest top of the line one, feels so light (it is the lightest indeed, 250gm).

The only downside is that it is not stringed. This is not the problem itself; the problem is that the product description in nowhere mentioned whether it is stringed or un-stringed.

I won't return the racket as I like it very much and I will have it stringed.

My recommendation to any potential buyers: better to check and make sure rackets sold by amazon have string or not have string.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great racquet for power and lightness, but frame broke. Prince came through. Questions remain., July 15, 2011

This review is from: Prince EXO3 Silver OS+ Tennis Racquet (Sports)
My wife and I both play with this racquet. We are 3.5 players and hardly hit the ball with excessive force. One day I miss hit a ball near the top of the racquet and heard a pop. I thought a string had broken but upon further inspection I saw that the frame has actually broken apart (not cracked) at the apex, but still held together by the strings. I have never seen this before in 20+ years of playing tennis. I had purchased the racquet from Amazon nine months ago. I contacted Prince who issued a Return Authorization and just today I received a new racquet with two sets of strings free of charge except for the shipping cost to send in the broken racquet. I give high marks to Prince for handling my case with speed and to my satisfaction.

However, I had sent in a EXO3 Silver racquet with 118 sq in. head size which has a grey and silver paint scheme (i.e., one pictured on this ad). Prince sent me an EXO3 Silver that has a 115 sq. in. head size and a different black and white paint scheme. I checked their website and they only show the 115 in. racquet for the EXO3 Silver with a "new" icon next to the picture. So, I am supposing that this is the newest version of the EXO3 Silver. The 118 in. EXO3 Silver just came out last year and it seems a little early to issue a new version (I could be wrong). But, this new version coupled with my experience makes me wonder about the design of the 118 in. racquet shown here. Is there an inherent flaw that makes this racquet susceptible to breaking? If anyone has any info about this question I would welcome it.

*** Update. I received a letter from Prince indicating that the 118 sq in. version is in fact discontinued. The 115 sq. in is the latest version. ***

After saying this, however, the racquet is a pleasure to play with. As advertised, it is very light and has a powerful punch. If this kind of racquet fits your swing style (see Prince's power to swing style chart) and I am wrong about a design problem with the frame, then I highly recommend this racquet. Right now, both racquets cost about the same, but if the 115 sq. in. is indeed the latest version, you should watch for a price reduction in the 118 sq. in. version.
