5.0 out of 5 stars Must have
I've played about 5 hours with this glove and it is awesome. Previously, I have used the Ektelon Classic glove. This glove with the O3 standard grip is like glue. The problem that I have had with the Classic glove is that the next day the glove would be hard and I would have to wet it a bit to loosen it up so that I could get my hand in it. I also noticed that my hand...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but not the best
I have a relatively long thumb. I usually wear through my gloves pretty quickly. This ones seems to be holding up a bit better. However, it does not fit as well as many others I've had, particularly around my middle finger. It has been pushing down on my nail the last few times I have played, and that hurts. Also, the grip is white for some strange reason. After one game,...

I also noticed that my hand would get wet inside the glove and slide around while the glove "stuck" to the grip. The Ektelon O3 glove, not an issue. My hand stays dry and the glove doesn't dry out overnight. I don't think I will use any other glove than this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great glove!, April 29, 2009
By
I have extremely sweaty hands and feet. I have to change the grip on my racquet every month or so because of the sweat eating away at the grip. With these gloves, it has greatly reduced my cost of replacing the grip and not only that, they keep my hand on the grip in the same position which has greatly improved my game. Without the glove, my hand would constantly move around the grip because of the sweat. Another thing I like is the breathing quality of the glove. It is super lightweight and it breaths very well.

Excellent glove. Would definitely buy again.

5.0 out of 5 stars My personal favorite, February 9, 2009

I prefer this glove. I play on average 3 times a week. The first one lasted me about a year before the stitching started coming undone and a hole developed in the leather. Very good considering the price, so I bought a few more, in case it gets discontinued or anything. The glove grips the stock grip on my Ektelon O3 Red (The clear rubber tube) very well (and matches!). I've never had any of the little rubber rings on the fingers come off, but they are purely cosmetic. They don't add any extra protection or anything. I just wash mine in the sink with some laundry detergent from time to time.

4.0 out of 5 stars good glove, but possible size issues, February 13, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Potential bad news first: I think these gloves are unisex sized, so males using an XL glove should know these feel a little small, particularly if you use an underglove. The velcro closure allows some width flexibility, but the wrist cuff rides a bit too high and the fingers are barely long enough.

That being said, this glove is comfortable. The back is well-vented and the racquet side provides good feel with just the right amount of tackiness (with an Ektelon Vision II grip). The day after playing, the glove is dry, but not rigid.

If you're happy with the fit, you should be happy with the play of this glove.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Glove, April 16, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have been playing racquetball recreationally for about 4 years now. I would rate myself as an intermediate/experienced player, but by no means an advanced player. While my knowledge on racquetball gloves is restricted, I believe owning a glove will enhance the overall racquetball experience.

I purchased this product when it was priced at $16.00. The previous glove I used would dry up to the point where it offered less grip rather than more. I can confirm previous claims that the Ektelon 03 pictured is not the product sent - it is the newer, redesigned glove. This voids complaints of the circular rubber pieces "falling off" as the newer model has foregone on that component of the O3 glove.

Conclusion: This glove definitely offers flexibility and breathability as claimed by many owners. Anyone looking for a glove that will provide both comfort and grip around $15, I highly recommend this glove.

1.0 out of 5 stars BEWARE OF MODEL, January 3, 2012

This review is from: Ektelon O3 Racquetball Glove (Sports)
All I can say is be very careful with this dealer. They shipped a different glove than is in the picture. They actually ship the newer model of the Ektelon O3 Glove. Very disappointed in the seller. They can certainly expect a phone call from me and I will send this back.

The glove that you do get isn't all that bad though, dont get me wrong-- Its just not the one advertised and for that I will give this 1/5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits well, great breathability and comfort!, December 5, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've been playing racquetball consistently for the last few years. I stayed away from gloves because the ones I found in basic sports stores were awkward and uncomfortable, not to mention poor material quality. This glove for it's price has good quality, breathes well and is comfortable for hours of play. For those who are recreational players, I would highly recommend this glove. I would say that for competition this would suffice, but there are probably better gloves out there. This is my first and it's lasted for 3 months with consistent play with no issues.

Good product!

4.0 out of 5 stars No sweaty hands, but not good grip., September 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This glove is very good in quality. It is holding up very well to sweat and "abuse." The only problem I have is it doesn't have the grip of my old glove, which causes the racquet to slip in my hand sometimes. Good for the "reach" shot but not good when I'm really trying to smash it. On the plus side, my hand doesn't sweat like crazy. What a plus that is!
