This review is from: Prince of Lankhmar (Advanced Dungeon and Dragons Module LNA3) (Paperback)
This module is divided into three parts. In Part One, the adventurers are recruited by the Overlord of Lankhmar to escort his son home from schooling abroad. The plot the party is forced along assumes that the PCs are incompetent idiots who are unable to defend themselves or their charge from bandits on the road. Eventually, the group is allowed to accomplish their mission, although the main bad guy escapes.

Part Two takes place two to three years later. The bad guy from one, fallen on hard times following his defeat at the hands of the party has returned for revenge. Depending on how the PCs deal with the threat, they could end up becoming the new Overlord of the city.

Part Three describes the powers of the Overlord and how the government of Lankhmar operates. As far as I was concerned, this was the best part of the module and the only reason I didn't give the product only two stars.
