when i first started reading this book, i thought it was a bit like a fictional story. many of the things left me thinking 'you can't possibly know that'. i just couldn't seem to jet terribly involved until the prince of wales was brought in. after that point, it became a rather pleasant read that i couldn't put down.

i found myself quite disillusioned--she was not the angel i always imagined her to be. at the same time, had she been said perfect angel, she would have never gained the fame and popularity she did.

overall, i would recommend it to anyone interested in her and her life.

I bought this book used, it said it was in fair condition and it was in just that, fair condition. So it was a perfect transaction. No unpleasent surprises.

Loved this captivating book and enjoyed every page. Lily's story was well written with just enough facts to tie into the period. I really enjoyed the history surrounding her life.
