3.0 out of 5 stars Not so easy to clean
This is a good booster. Very soft and cushiony though you wouldn't think it. My daughter loves it. The only problem I have with it (and being a Mom it's a pretty big problem) is that the straps don't come off to throw in the wash. I ordered this item because my 23 month old now wants to sit at the table like a big girl. There were no reviews on this item when I ordered it, so I took a risk buying it, and couldn't be happier. It was very simple to "install", and I had it installed, with my daughter sitting in it, in no more than five minutes. It has a smooth surface, which makes it easy to clean, and is very comfortable for her since it is a firm foam cushion. Unlike many of the booster seats similar to this one, it has a safety belt to strap her into, along with straps to secure it around the bottom and back of the chair. The straps snap off easily enough for the parent to take it off the chair, therefore it is portable as well. (If you decide that you don't want the harness for the child, it is easily removed.) It has little rubber "nubbies" on the bottom to keep it from sliding on the chair, so those, combined with the straps, make it a very safe and sturdy alternative to a high chair. It sits the child high enough to reach the table comfortably, but is also low enough that the chair can be pushed under the table when table time is over. I posted a few pictures, and hope that this is helpful to other parents who have to try to swim through the sea of booster seats available nowadays!

5.0 out of 5 stars cleaning is a cinch, July 5, 2010

Great booster. For those of you concerned about the cleaning or that the straps do not detach for cleaning, merely flip the booster upside down and put it in your dishwasher on gentle or normal.. Will come out as clean as the day you bought it.

This is a good booster. Very soft and cushiony though you wouldn't think it. My daughter loves it. The only problem I have with it (and being a Mom it's a pretty big problem) is that the straps don't come off to throw in the wash. The straps on our highchair would and I guess if I hadn't had that option before it wouldn't be such a big thing but these can get pretty filthy if you have a messy eater like my daughter. Also the holes where the straps come through can get milk and other stuff down in them and it's impossible to get out. I had to have one with the straps though with since ours won't stay put while eating if she has the choice. All in all it's decent and my husband likes it a lot (since he doesn't care about the cleaning of it) and the color (pink/chocolate) is really cute. Not cheaply made either, very sturdy. Just wish the straps could come off for cleaning.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not At All Happy w/ This, November 15, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
When I looked online I really was excited about this booster, but it's been horrible for me. My number one complaint is that it is absolutely uncleanable. The straps for the buckle do NOT remove. I was used to a seat that you could simply pull them out and wash them separately. With this one, you can only wipe them, but I think we all know how well that works. Plus, because there are slits where the straps come out from under the seat, food gets stuck inside and it's horrible!! Also, adjusting the straps is miserable. The way they are teathered makes them more less apt to slip, but also makes adjusting a nightmare. I just left it loose because I could get it any tighter. I think the comfort level is fine and it's obviously asthetically appealing. I did read what someone else said in their review about the height of the seat not fitting under the table. I decided to give it a try and they are absolutely right. With my daughter sitting in it you can't push it under. You can push it close and it works, but it's not how it's designed to work. Overall I'm extremely dissapointed esp. after reading such great reviews, but this did not work at all for us! Now I'm off to find another one...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Booster Seat, March 26, 2009

This booster seat is very good. The seat is very easy to clean since it has an easy wipe surface with (almost) no cracks or crevices for food (only crevices are the holes for the seatbelt). The top part of the seat is made of a cushiony plastic, so it is comfortable and my son will sit in it long enough to eat his food without complaining. The booster seat has two adjustable straps to hold it very securely in place. The straps are easy to use and adjust. The chair sits VERY securely on my chairs that have a cushion. The angle of the chair is also very good -- it allows my son to sit up straight, but he can easily lean back against the kitchen chair back if he wants. In all, it's a very good booster seat!

1.0 out of 5 stars STRAPS TOO SHORT, September 12, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Prince Lionheart BoosterPOD, Chocolate Base/Aqua (Baby Product)
My only problem with the chair (aside from the terrible retro color options!) is that the straps are TOO SHORT to fit around the average chair. We have normal sized chairs and the straps that fasten around the bottom of the chair and through the back slats of the chair are simply too short to come together to latch.

I called the company several times, and they acknowledged that this is a big problem that they are trying to fix. Supposedly they have "extension straps" that the woman said would be sent to me. It is now **THREE MONTHS** later, and we still cannot use this chair! I have called the company numerous times and was told that they were having a lot of returns of the extension straps because the snaps/buckles were not the same and would not work with the hardware on the boosterpods. I am so frustrated right now since the original box was destroyed in shipping, so I cannot return the chair to amazon.com to get the refund. It sits unused in our garage, and was a total waste of money.

I'm very disappointed since it is soft, and looks like a nice design. My two year old REALLY wants to use it, but it is not safe to use without it being attached to the dining room chair. I would not recommend using this without the straps, as a child, even a bigger one, could easily fall out of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it!!!, January 21, 2010

I purchased two of these seats- one for my 3 year old and one for my 1 1/2 year old. I prefer sitting around the table as a family, and the high chair just wasn't cutting it!!! Nor was the cheaper plastic booster I had already purchased!

This is super easy to clean, and the straps on mine are easily removable for a quick wash- not sure about previous reviews that rated lower based upon straps not being removable.

The only thing I have noticed that I am not super excited about would be that if any acidic tomato product gets on the pink seat, it has slightly discolored in that spot. Not sure about any other colors.

Really, I have been through two other boosters and this is by far the best. Super soft and comfortable, easy to clean, well made and secure!!! Oh, and I have a super soft wood table and chairs- this has yet to leave a single scuff or scratch:)

5.0 out of 5 stars Love It!, October 6, 2010

My 21 month old loves this seat! He wouldn't sit in his high chair anymore, and dinner had moved to the coffee table..sigh. But now he'll gladly sit at the kitchen table, he loves the squishy seat! It's really not hard to clean either. I mean, if any seat has straps youre going to have the issue of cleaning them and cleaning around them. I haven't had to use more than a soapy dishcloth on it though. Color is waay better in person too. I dont know why they look so neon in the pictures, but mine (blue/aqua) isn't neon-like at all. Also, the bottom has like a rubber-y gripper strip on the botton so it never slides around the chair like some seats. Overall just a great seat! No complaints!

3.0 out of 5 stars not good for certain tables, October 11, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These did not work out for me. my kitchen table has a deep top to it and the chairs are deep as well.
the kids legs are too tight under the table when I push them in. they are 2 years old and pretty tall but I was still hoping to use them. I think these seats would work well with a thin table and small chairs. the buckle would not fit around the chairs either. otherwise they would have been great. the twins say "too tight". just something to think about because I certainly did not think about the type of table I have.

Our 4 year old son still uses it. We have had this seat (Prince Lionheart BoostrePod) for about a year. We can scoot him up close to the table (Thank you to the person who posted photos of their child which showed how close their child could be scooted to the table, which helped us decide to purchase this seat). It sits on our dining room chair and is attached easily with the straps it comes with. It seams stable (have not had any problems). It is super easy to wipe off and clean with a wet sponge/paper towel. It looks cute. I would definitely recommend this booster seat!
