    From the Manufacturer

Prince Lionheart is dedicated to providing today's parents with the smart choice in baby products that blend practical function with modern style, while ensuring that all materials and processes used in their production are safe and protect the health of children and the environment. This is made of pure medical grade silicone. Prince Lionheart's bottles and nipples provide a safe hypoallergenic way to feed baby. Silicone is a natural material that has no open pores to harbor bacteria thereby ensuring baby is getting nutrition as pure as nature intended, without the leaching of harmful chemicals. This is BPA, phthalate, PVC latex and led free. It is unbreakable, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. This is easy to clean and heat resistant. The plastic ring, collar and cap are made of FDA approved food grade material and contain no polycarbonates or BPA. Bottle feeding with Prince Lionheart's silicone bottles replicates the tactile experience of breastfeeding and helps reduce baby feeding problems like colic, spit up and reflux. This has a one-way venting system reducing the incidence of these symptoms. It is also been shown to reduce risk of middle ear infections. Most bottles with venting holes allow air into bottles as babies drink. Prince Lionheart's silicone bottle collapses as air is released giving baby a bubble free bottle feeding.

Love the Prince Lionheart Silicone Bottles. We needed a bottle that allowed for easy drawing of the milk without allowing in air. These bottles did the trick. My daughter was born 6 weeks early and had some issues with breastfeeding, but this bottle was perfect for feedings and allowed me to work on her latch technique. My preemie actually preferred the 3-6 month nipples (versus the 0-3 month ones that come with the bottles), to allow her easier access to her meal, but overall these bottles are wonderful. They collapse as the baby drinks, which helps prevent air from getting to the baby and allows for a steady flow of milk. They are much easier to clean and reassemble than other silicone bottles on the market and they look great! (No leaks if you take the 2 seconds it takes to ensure the lip of the silicone is over the plastic shell.) I bought a second set for my babysitter. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Is there a trick to these? Do you have to squeeze the air out until the milk reaches the nipple, or no? The bottle packaging says nothing of this, but the packaging for the nipples says to squeeze nipple and squeeze out excess air until the milk reaches the nipple.
Either way, I introduced my newborn to these at a few days old. The slow flow nipples were way too slow and he couldn't suck anything out. The medium flow nipples are just a tad bit too fast.
I squeezed out most air from the bottle (like you do drop ins) and he can't suck anything out. I let the air back in, and he's able to drink from it.. But the bottle hardly collapses and I believe he is getting too much air.

So far I'm a little disappointed. I wanted to love these.. I will try using them again when my son is a little older.

I am very very unhappy with this product as it is pretty much unusable. I chose this product because it it silicone throughout the inside, which I thought would be safer for my baby's milk. Unfortunately, since the bottles are also soft on the outside, it's possible (read:easy) to squeeze the bottle hard enough to make the lid pop off and the contents to spill. The threading that attaches the lid is just soft silicone!

Because of this I suffered the (heartbreaking) loss of several ounces of pumped breast milk, which caused by baby to be hungry for hours and I had nothing else on hand to satisfy her. It's just not a well designed product.

I give two stars because at least this company is trying to provide a safe vessel for baby.
