Customer Reviews

They have still frayed.
Erica Wilson
I like the texture, but they shrank a couple inches after the first wash, and I didn't even put them in the dryer.
Kelly
This would absolutely be a great product if they would pay a little more attention to the hemming on the edges.

I love these wipes. They are so soft and perfect for cloth wipes. I have read a lot of bad reviews, but it seems as though most of the people are not following the directions. The wipes come with a slip of paper that clearly says they are delicate because of the natural bamboo material. It also says to wash on delicate and DO NOT DRY. If you are using them for cloth wipes in your warmer (which keeps them wet and moist) why do they need to be dried in the first place?? I take mine straight from the washer and put them back in the warmer. They are in excellent condition.

I've been using a combination of these wipes and Babykicks for 5 months now. These wipes are bulkier than the Babykicks, so fewer fit in the warmer. However, they are very soft and textured nicely to clean baby's bum effectively. The instructions do say not to put them in the dryer; when I did by accident, two of them did fray at the edges.
However, I avoid this problem easily by keeping a mesh lingerie bag near our changing table and placing the dirties in there. When it's time to wash, I zip the bag, throw it in the wash, and pull the bag out between washer and dryer. Using this method, the Warmies are actually outlasting the Babykicks (which I also like), which are starting to become thin with wear. It also convenient because when baby wears G-diapers, I can throw the plastic liners in and keep them out of the dryer, too. Overall, I recommend as long as you can find an easy laundering routine.

Received these along with the Prince Lionheart wipes warmer at my baby shower and thought they were both totally unecessary...but kept them since it was a well-meant gift. Now I think of these as indispensible! Gets the baby cleaner than disposable wipes, with no chemicals and no waste.

As stated in other reviews, the bamboo material is somewhat delicate and may fray at the edges- IF you don't care for them. But care is simple! I keep a lingerie bag next to the changing table and place used wipes in it. When I get 5 or so wipes soiled, I toss the whole bag in the washer with other baby clothes or cloth diapers. You don't need to dry them (they're WET wipes!) This has worked great, my baby is now 4 months old and we're still using the original wipes. We do also use other, thinner cotton wipes (available on Amazon also), generally for pee-only diaper changes. But these thicker bamboo ones are fabulous for cleaning up poopy messes!

My favorite part is that I mix a few drops of tea tree oil, lavender oil, olive oil and organic baby soap in 2 cups of water and pour this mix over the wipes before putting them in the warmer. The end result is a soft, warm wipe that smells great, softens baby's skin AND we've never had diaper rash! LOVE this product!

UPDATE: my baby is now 8 months old and we're still using the same wipes, which get washed in hot water every few days, and I'm now too lazy to mess with the lingerie bag ;) They just go in the wash with the diapers and that's that. Oh, sometimes they go through the dryer too. A couple have frayed at the edge but we still use them. Am back today to order more since we never use disposable wipes any more. These are great!

These wipes are amazing, so soft! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that they're pricey and the listing doesn't tell you how many there are for the price. When I got them I was surprised there are only 8. Either way, they're very soft and cozy for baby's bum.

I was thinking of ordering these wipes for my warmer and son and was curious how many come in the pack?

Do not purchase these wipes! I just bought the wipes warmer (which I am happy with), and it came with 4 of these wipes. After the very first wash, the edges have come off, and they are fraying badly! At this price, they are very low quality and with not last through even one wash. I am using baby washclothes instead. They are just as soft, much, much cheaper, and hold up through many washes.

I bought these at babies r us along with the warmer because I'm doing cloth diapers, cloth wipes is only logical..

These are a very nice soft plush terry cloth material, but they are fraying in the wash and my daughter is less that 1 month old! Poor quality... I own a serger so I hope to salvage them, but really I wish I'd just made my own wipes to start with.

Cloth wipes should be able to be washed and dried with cloth diapers. All the special care instructions to avoid fraying (i.e. gentle cycle, no dryer, lingerie bag), are impractical. Just get a product that can hold up to being washed and dried with your diapers!

These are great wipes, but as the other reviewers have said, they fray. I have had my wipes for about a year and a half now. I wash them in the washing machine and air dry them every time. They have still frayed. Also, i use Thirsties diapers that have velcro tabs and I think these wipes have an irresistable desire to find the velcro and attach themselves to it. I always close the tabs before washing them, but sometimes it still happens. I love the wipes but really wish the seams were better.
