5.0 out of 5 stars From a High-school tennis player
I used this racquet this season for Tennis. I love it. I feel that this raccquet is the perfect weight. You dont loose power, but your arm doesnt get tired.
I used the head Ti-S6 before this one, It was too light and vibrated alot. The prince is perfect. I suggest this racquet to anybody.

3.0 out of 5 stars Seems Ok, but I am no expert
Everything about the racket seems great except for the stringing. I bought two rackets to play with a friend and you don't get much pop off of the racket unless the ball is hit dead center. I am sure a more experienced player would tell me that I need to upgrade the strings, but I expected the performance of the strings to be a little better. All in all, a good buy for...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Racquet, June 18, 2005

I love this tennis racquet. It has a perfect blend of power and control. It is great for players that are able to generate their own power, but are looking for a little more control. The balance is a little head heavy, but its not so heavy that it tires out your arm. The oversized head (110 sq. in) gives this racquet more of a sweet spot area. This is a great racquet for groundstrokes and volleys. I had a little more trouble controlling my serves. Overall, I would recommend this racquet for any player at the recreational level or competative level.

I am a beginner of tennis sports. With this light-weight racquet, I made some progress during this summer. I like it. One of my friends who is a very good tennis player has used this racquet for three years and he also likes it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great racket for beginners, August 10, 2006
I bought this one a month ago. I just started to play tennis for 2 months, about 8 times. I had a cheap racket under $40. The TripleThreat really made quite a difference to me. It's a oversize one, has lots of power, much easier to hit at the sweet spot. The control could be a tricky, but still way better than my previous cheap one. I saw reviews complains that it gives elbow problem, not to me. I truly believe that this should be an ideal racket for all beginners. I am still learning, so couldn't comment on more advanced features.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great racquet for high school, club players, May 12, 2012
This review is from: Prince Triple Threat Bandit Oversize Tennis Racquet (Misc.)
I coach high school tennis and have played for 20+ years. I use this racquet, actually 5 of them. It's comfortably light, solid, maneuverable with excellent feedback for touch and control. The headsize is generous at 110 inches for a bigger sweetspot.

The blurb for this racquet says that it provides power. I happily disagree. A 950 power rating is low-medium. This means that you can take big swings at the ball and it will still drop in, especially when strung with a polyester-hybrid string setup.

I tell anyone who will listen: "If you pay more than $100 for a racquet, you wasting money on hype and this year's color. Save you money for overgrips and quality strings." You can't buy a tennis game. You have to play. This racquet gets the job done.

Note: As with any racquet, buy a good vibration dampener, suggestion "Gamma Shockbuster."

Note: If you are an older beginner 30+, older player (60+) or average female club player with a slow swing speed, consider the "Prince O3 Silver OS" with a 118 inch head. Many of the same attributes but more powerful and easier on the arm (over dampened.) I dislike most O3's, but this is a great racquet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid Feel and Play, February 3, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I wanted to buy a lighter tennis racquet that was more evenly weighted than the other Prince racquets I have tried or own. At 9.9oz strung this is light. I almost didn't purchase this because it was so inexpensive compared to the others I was considering. Glad I got it. This plays almost exactly like the more expensive Prince EXO3 White Lite 100, though the head is slightly more weighted.

5.0 out of 5 stars No vibration is a strange thing, January 26, 2012
I have been playing tennis for about 2 years, I average about 25-30 sets a week. I've owned 2 Wilson rackets that I bought from Walmart for under $30 each. I have developed a pretty wicked serve and became consistent with my volleys, and I thought it was time for a little upgrade. I purchased this racket "used" on another website and just received it yesterday, and I took it out for a spin.

Appearance: You can see the color scheme in the pictures that are in the listing...what you can't see is that this isn't your glossy-paint Walmart Racket, it is a soft matte finish, which I love.

Grip: This racket has a very sticky rubberized grip. Maintain the slightest pressure in your grip and I can't see this racket ever leaving your hand or slipping into misalignment during your swing.

Strings: Very tight.

Weight: Lighter than any racket I've ever used, but it still feels like a very solid racket.

Performance: The strangest thing I've encountered with this racket is that there isn't the least bit of vibration when I hit the ball. This is a very good thing, but boy is it strange when you've been using a low-grade Walmart racket for a couple years. It threw me off, but once I adjusted I was able to fully appreciate the zero vibration.

This is the first Prince Racket I've owned, and because of this model I will probably purchase Prince rackets from here-on-out.
