5.0 out of 5 stars I loved it!
This was one of the best books on Prince William I have ever read. It had great pictures and interesting things I never knew before. Teen People went out of there way to get an inside view on the "Prince of Hearts!" I loved this book from start to finish. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a Prince William fanatic of would just like to learn more...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice photos if that's what you're after.
As a big fan of Princess Diana, I have remained loyal by keeping up with her kids. This book is great if all you want is photos of William to swoon over, but the text is pretty thin, and doesn't say much of anything new. Lisa made a mistake too, in saying that Diana broke with the tradition of princes going to 'tough' schools. Actually, Queen Elizabeth and Prince...

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!, April 11, 1999

This review is from: Prince William: Prince of Hearts (Paperback)
Finally, a book that has good pictures, accurate content, and it's fun to read. It's about time they figure out what they're talking about. I gave this book five stars for two reasons: 1) The text is up-to-date, and well researched. 2) Most "un" authorized books you read usually fill you with lies, this one doesn't. I recomend this book to readers of all ages. Believe me, it's a steal at 7.99.

Lisa made a mistake too, in saying that Diana broke with the tradition of princes going to 'tough' schools. Actually, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were the first royal parents to send their son to a boarding school. Royal children were usually educated by tutors. There are 1 or 2 other small historical errors, but all in all, a good photo spread on good quality paper.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a great book for all ages., January 27, 1999

This review is from: Prince William: Prince of Hearts (Paperback)
This is a fabulous book about Prince William which contains almost everything one wants to know about the young prince. There are pictures of the handsome lad from infancy to the present day. Today William is as photogenic as his mother, the late, Diana, Princess of Wales, was.

Over the years, Prince William has been given many nicknames, and, during his christening, he proved he has a lusty pair of lungs. Thus, he was dubbed the Prince of Wails.

Prince William has had a mind of his own since the day he was born. Friends say he can be quite stubborn when he wishes to be. " He doesn't like the idea of being pushed into anything," says royal watcher Ingrid Seward who is also the author of many books on the royal family.

Diana was a Mother first and foremost who was devoted to both her sons, and they returned her love. Diana spent her thirty-fourth birthday participating in a mother/son tennis tournament at Ludgrove. Prince William always relied on his mother for advice, and she relied on him after her divorce.

William personally thanked the huge crowds who gathered outside Buckingham Palace after Diana'a death. Most onlookers were surprised and impressed by his poise and maturity given thetraumatic nature of the events. William and Diana are described as kindred spirits in many ways. It was William who insisted that he walk with his mother's funeral procession to the church. He was still a boy but expressing all the right qualities for the future King. When Diana died, it seem that William's life had been ripped apart, but her love and influence will always remain with him. Author Harold Books-Baker has said the even in death, Diana has more influence than Grace Kelly or John Kennedy did on the future of their sons and country and that her legacy will continue with William all the way to the throne.

William and his fun-loving brother, Prince Harry, have always been close, and they are even closer since the death of their beloved mother. Prince Harry thinks it's funny when teenage girls go wild over his brother.

Prince William is delightfully charming through and through, and, when the time comes for him to assume the throne, he will certainly be able to do so with all the poise, warmth, and compassion of his late mother.

This book is a must for all who collect books on Prince William or the royal family. The book is paperback, contains 96 pages, and measures 91/2x11 inches.

3.0 out of 5 stars PLEASE READ MY REVIEW. IT'S IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!, February 2, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Prince William: Prince of Hearts (Paperback)
Although I found "Teen People"'s book to be well-researched, I was disappointed. It was well-written, had plenty of pictures of the photogenic prince, and had nice little bits of information about the royal family, but I still was upset about the book.

I belong to an organization that is attempting to bring some peace to teenage celebrities' (especially teenage royals') lives. In this age of "stalkerazzi" and constant intrusion, we are trying to keep them from being beseiged. These days, satellite communications and the internet have made it even easier for celebrities to become famous the world-over.

Our ardent wish is that you would think over WHY you are buying the book. We have heard that Prince William doesn't like the press, and We believe that he wouldn't want to be exploited the way TEEN PEOPLE has done with this book. Please think over how YOU would feel in his shoes.

Finally, please remember that Prince William is a REAL HUMAN BEING who has emotions also. Even though his popularity transcends countries and language barriers, he may feel strongly about this book being published.

Please think over your decision carefully.
