My daughter has almost all of the Princess Bean CDs and she loves them. The songs are uplifting and have a moral, but are not sappy or Barney-ish. Messy World is story mostly told in songs and has great characters. I love the voice of the Magic Mirror! I like listening to the CD with my daughter because it is fun, educational, and it rocks!

We got this CD for out two year old daughter. Everytime she gets in the car, she asks for "Princess Bean!", "Princess Bean!". I had to buy another CD for the second car that we have. She now ca-yoddle in the car. This CD is by far the best CD that I got for my daughter.

Best CD I ever heard. I liked the part where they jumped on the bed to wake up sleeping beauty. I also liked when she peeked over to see what the other book was and fell.

Princess Bean's Messy World is the perfect CD which enables you to share the fun and pleasure of Rock-N-Roll, and at the same teach your kids basic lessons on the importance of respecting and appreciating people for who they are. The music is enjoyable, the songs are quite catchy ("Bean's Bag" and "Will I Win" are personal favorites), but just as importantly, the story and message are invaluable. With Princess Bean and the power of music, parents are provided with a great tool to teach your daughter (or son) that everyone is a princess, and that being genuine and true to yourself is much more important than having a shallow, materialistic value system.

After listening to Messy World a few times, you'll soon catch yourself humming the catchy lyrics, reciting favorite lines while you're doing laundry, cleaning bedrooms, playing baseball with the kids, etc. Brittany and I are truly looking forward to the sequel!

This is the best album for children I've ever heard. It is not your average children's album. I enjoy it as much as my children. My daughter is 6 and my son is 8 1/2 and it is all they want to listen to. The message is so important and this album says it without hitting you over the head. It is like a full musical on CD - scenes, songs and sound design. If we listen to it in the car my children don't complain about how long it takes to get somewhere. I so recommend this product. You won't regret it!

I first listened to this CD because I knew the composer's mother-in-law. Being a musician, myself, I didn't expect much from it--snob that I often am. However, I was delighted with both the music and the words. The message is one I wish I could have brought my own daughter up on--and tried to, without the aid of this CD. And now I'm very happy to be able to give it to my two grand nieces. The music will set them dancing, and the message will have them listening to it again and again. Jan

When I was young, I had "Free to be you and me". Now I listen to this album with my children, with my friends, or even when I'm alone! There's a great story full of spirit and important messages for little girls and boys alike--and the songs, well, every one of them totally rocks. Kids stop what they're doing and just listen, over and over again, until they can sing along. If you believe in instilling your children with a strong sense of individuality and the value of true friends, get this album, and I'm sure there'll be more from this amazing duo.

"Princess Bean's Messy World" is a powerful message masquerading as a children's musical. In this era of anorexic female role models bombarding television and movie screens, billboards, magazines and even toy stores with "look like me, act like me" image marketing, it is refreshing to find a "real girl" role model who exudes honesty, a sense of self-worth and an adventurous spirit. Through a captivating plot and innovative lyrics set to a memorable, toe-tapping, sing-along musical score, Princess Bean's story tells kids (and adults) that it's okay to be who you are. Two thumbs up!

This is a very fun and exciting record that appeals to adults as well as kids. My own child wants to listen to Princess Bean every day! These catchy songs keep you humming long after the cd has ended. It ranks up there with "Free to Be You and Me" -- except it's much hipper. I can't recommend this enough! My child can't wait to hear the next Princess Bean CD.

My daughter is still a little young for this (only 8 months) so I lent it to my neighbor across the street and her 5 year old girl. She LOVES it and plays it often.
